I make a three egg-white omelet loaded with veggies like spinach, onions, mushrooms. Pair this with a coffee and a yogurt and I'm full till at-least 2pm.

OMG GRATS !!!! This is such a great thing your doing and your def inspiring ALOT of ppl..me included! Your time is still really great:flowerforyou: I have my first 5K in 3 weeks..and i can only really run 1/4 of a mile at a time with short walk breaks in between each 1/4 mile. I'm proud of you !!

I'm in training for my 1st C25K event...I still get shin splints but not as bad as the first week or so. My trainer has me spinning to build endurance in my legs as well as floor stretches for the shins. It's when you sit on the floor, feet out in front of you and you try to touch your toes...you feel the burn in your legs…

I'm with you on this one ! I've kicked it once before for a few weeks but the headaches that came were not a fun thing. I happened to start drinking the diet soda again after the holidays but I've since limited it to dinner. I'm looking to stop for good though !

I wish I had answers for you ! I just started my C25K training yesterday and its all outside. I did though ask the trainer if she thought it was ok to do our "homework" on the treadmill instead of actually running outside and she said not to. Something about being stationary on the machine and being outside you don't get…

The old way only considered three things like calories..fat and fiber. The new way considers carbs and how that effects your body when you have to digest it. The new way, in my opinion is better. Your pts are way higher to begin with as well on the new program so just by looking at what the old was vrs the new pts you…

Well I am not a runner...yet. I have officially signed up for my 1st 5k this June and start training in the "Couch to 5k" this Wednesday. I have alot of weight to loose but many people who have gone threw the program have lost 40+ lbs.

LOL I was thinking a similar thing when I see the "way to gos" on ppls diary's that ate under their calorie count. But I understand where they are coming from. Some people may not be eating back there exercise calories or maybe just had 100 cals to go. Its a good motivator for ppl who normally eat or tend to eat over there…

I'm sorry to hear about your family situation. A lifestyle change with stress can be difficult. I would recommend that when you do eat you eat healthy. Or maybe start from the beginning again...eat one healthy thing a day..then add two more then add three until your eating all your meals healthy, trying to replace one…
