It matters to me. I'd be okay with a man my same height (5'9") but I don't think I could consider someone shorter. Although...I do enjoy being taller than my 6' husband when I wear heels

That is so exciting! Congratulations to you! My husband and I have decided to wait for her/him to arrive to find out the sex. I honestly think I'm hoping a little more for a baby girl, but I'll be happy either way of course.

Checking back in at 17 weeks....AND.... 1 pound gained from pre pregnancy weight. My weight was/is too high for my height, so I'm wanting to gain 12-15lbs total in my pregnancy. My doctor doesn't seem worried about my weight and the baby is healthy

I keep weighing myself everyday. I know, I know, I need to stop it. I think once a week would probably be ideal.

I'm at 12 weeks and haven't gained any weight yet. I should gain between 4 and 6 pounds in my next trimester and between 7 and 9 in my last.

Hi there! I'm expecting my first in December. I already have a hard time losing weight, I can't imagine how much more difficult it will be with a little one around. So my goal is to eat my healthiest, get some exercise, and only gain about 15 lbs. I'm currently at 10 weeks and have not gained any weight yet. Morning…

I'm really grateful for this thread. I'm pregnant with my first child and I'm overweight. I'm terribly worried about losing, gaining, working out, not working out, etc. I know that a doctor could give me good advice, but it's just nice to know there are others in the same boat.
