I like the old fashioned Quaker oats. More grainy than the instant stuff. I recently put a splash of vanilla and a little bit of evaporated milk and oh.my.gosh. It tasted like heaven. SO good. It was like I was eating dessert. Healthy dessert!

I usually stick to flash frozen tilapia. I buy a big bag of it at the store. I usually prepare it pretty simply with a drizzle of olive oil, creole seasoning, garlic salt, and a dash of ground red pepper. You can do that while its still frozen. I usually do chili or soup. Lots of sodium, but it's got protein and not too bad for calories if you get the right one. Maybe one of those ready made sandwiches from the deli section with a piece of fruit? And of course if they have a salad bar, that's always an option.

I've been getting the Nature's Own whole wheat bread and it's 50 calories per slice. It's not light or anything and the slices are normal sized. I have also made wheat bread and it's delicious, but about 150 per slice. It is more dense than store bought, but so much better.
