I think everyone is unique and has to try things to figure out what works for them. But here is some good advice I've gotten: 1. Find some form of exercise you can enjoy because you'll be more likely to stick with it 2. Have something you're training for to help keep you motivated to exercise (like a 5k, warior dash, or…

I’m 5’1” and 106 lbs and I’m just maintaining. I eat about 1200-1300 calories a day and save my exercise calories for weekend or special occasion splurges.

Wow! Fantastic. Bet you are looking and feeling great!

Oh yay!!!! I am so glad others are interested in doing this!! I've talked to several people who have done it in the past and they say you don't need to be able to run the whole 3 miles. In fact they have seen people walk the entire thing. I'm sure I won't be running the whole thing, but that's okay because I'm sure I'll…

I wouldn't call them sports but I have taken up kayaking and kettlebells this year. I totally love the workout I get with kettlebells - fast and effective! I tried to take up running...but failed miserably - I just HATE running. Oh well, wouldn't know if I hadn't tried. And it hasn't stopped me from getting fit.

Advice that helped me to stay motivated to work out was to find something to train for like a 5k or some sporting event. it has worked for me - I'm doing the warrior dash this summer and it is keeping me motivated. I also try to find exercise I enjoy. That really helps too because I don't have to force or convince myself…

Wish I could help. But I can't figure out the magic maintenance number either. My last 2 pounds (plus s few more) magically disappeared after I stopped working out for 2 weeks due to hand surgery.

Thanks for the post. Helps to know that I'm not alone in feeling it is harder to maintain than lose! I'm 41 and been maintaining for 4-5 months. Still logging everything, probably always will. Which is fine with me - it does give me a sense of accomplishment and control. But it would have been nice to know how hard…

Don't worry so much about what others may think. We all know how hard it is and have had our cheat days too. Try to log everyday regardless of whether or not your going over. Just knowing what your eating helps in the long run. Don't give up. Yes, it's hard, but YOU CAN DO THIS!
