I have lost about 30# since last August and I know I look different. I have compared the photos ;) But I still can't get it out of my head how far i have yet to go, rather than focusing on my successes. The WORST is the nagging feeling of where I would be if I started as I look today.

I don't log cleaning just like I don't log chasing my 2-year old who loves to run around the track for 20 minutes at a time. It is not just about filling in the boxes for me. It is about making a lifestyle change. Do something active everyday that you don't log.

This time is not what family memories should be about. I rather focus on the time we spent together talking with the tv off. I still watch tv and I love my netflix…

Ditto. Plus I set up a rule to watch no tv after 9:30pm. It helps a lot. Most the time I tidy up the house, read, or f$#* around on my phone while lying in bed. Or, I do my nails so I can't touch anything

I live in Alaska and there are quite a few beautiful days. There are also nice people on the trails with me. Most days I would rather share "hello's" and "go runner go's" and listen to the sounds of nature. Besides there are some scary people out there. I prefer to stay aware of my surroundings.

I have only told my husband, a lady at work, and MFP that I am trying to lose weight. I don't want the empathy. I just want to move on. Yesterday, I even made my husband promise that he wouldn't tell.
