Aww, fellow female landscaper here! Well sort of I'm a gardener working between nursery and job sights. Lots of bending over, lifting and running around but some days are easier then others. I use a FITbit one to track milage and it updates to my fitness pal. Diary is open feel free to peek or friend me. My problem became…

Matt, I think part of it is acceptance. Acceptance that it will never 'go away' but there are other options and those other options are going to be hard and uncomfortable but in the end will help you live a life worth living/a life more in line with YOUR morals. If you are getting professional help for your ED I"m sure…

Log it the best you can. I logged my damage, could have been much worse!

I'm sticking to my 5 eating times as usual but maybe cutting back a few calories on some of them. I'll stick with my 3 item rule plus dessert. So.... Ham, deviled eggs, some green veggie side and a slice of key lime pie. That will be my balance.

Lost weight on WW but never kept it off but that is my fault. Rather then thinking 'Hmm, its really getting hard to stick to points maybe I should problem solve i.e. find an alternative solution" I went to "This is getting impossible, I don't want to and I want ALL the food NOW" which lead to guilt which lead to more…

I think he might have a problem with women..... Information was interesting but his 'voice' IMHO a bit obnoxious. Thanks for sharing, though.

Not a vegetarian but I'd love to knock out most of the meat products I consume. I don't care for the way we treat most of our 'live stock' and recently have been having a lot of trouble eating meat off the bone. I do work with two very spoiled chickens who give us eggs. I don't like faux meats or soy just a lot of nuts,…

I ended up with a FitBit and I'm very happy with it. Its not perfect though, sometimes while driving over pot holes it will start adding steps AND flights. Just the other day the atmospheric pressure dropped so suddenly, as I was walking around work that it 'read' that I went 20 flights of stairs. I've also been so close…

Face and neck however this time it seems to be coming off pretty evenly.

I really think it is less about discipline and more about learning the skills to cope with inevitable negative affect. I eat 5 times a day and/or every 3-4 hours this was something that was difficult to start but after a few weeks has became second nature something I can continue my whole life. When I 'screw up' I log it…

Welcome! Feel free to add me. Logging is proven (well actually correlated) to help with long term weight loss, even if it can be a but* to get in to the habit. I had awful anxiety when I started on MFP because I was always in the 'red' I soon learned that their goal was not going to work for me so I raised my calories to…

Mine is open feel free to add me. Although I have like 40lbs. too lose and I'm doing it very slowly one step at a time.

Congrats! At 38G I dream of getting a reduction. Hopefully they will shrink a bit with the weight loss. :drinker: however I think mine are due for a lift :grumble:

Binge eater here, I even went and got help by professionals. Some goals they had for us.... 1. Eat 6 meals a day; 3-5 hours apart and plan ahead. 3 meals and 2 snacks. Have a protein and produce at each meal and snack s should just be one protein and a produce. However when starting out just stick to your times, have what…

I'm with you, running is not my thing! I garden, I hike, I'll occasionally dance around the house. My neighborhood is also not great for walking but I found a few youtube videos for yoga that I like.

I can only take green tea after I eat. I will get sick if I try on an empty stomach.

I get hypotensive the fitter I am so I need to make sure I have enough sodium at times. Haven't had to worry about it in awhile though.

Journal, talk it out (this ones hard for me but helpful), watch a good movie, yoga and meditation are nice too. Oh, and baths with epsome salt and lavender oil.

I don't know what to tell you about the increased metabolism piece. I know there are some people who can eat when they are hungry and stay balanced but for a lot of people our systems are just plan messed up. I have to eat on a schedule and not 'listen to my stomach'. However if I was hungry like you are saying I would try…

Flaunt it!

I get what you are saying about sugar addiction and I've known people who have had headaches from drastically reducing their candy intake. It works like an upper and when you crash you need more. Also certain forms can trigger overeating. It sounds like you want off that roller coaster. I am/ was very similar. I had to…

Yes you can! I have the FitBit One. Keep an eye out for inaccuracy, like when you're driving over pot holes. Yesterday mine track 20 flights of stairs however I did no such thing- I'm sure it was the atmospheric pressure dropping at such a quick pace.
