Me too, i find her "style" motivating. There are negatives to the workouts (my knees are not happy, etc,), but excellent whole-body workouts and it gets good results. Cardio equal to tennis for the spanker, none for the spankee sadly :) Plus, nothing like working out in leather to make you sweat out whatever water you might me retaining ... sadly the weightloss is only temporary. Chasing someone around the room in 4" heels is also great for your calves.

I've done it both ways, and if you are not going to failure you don't need to do splits IMHO - especially if you only lift twice a week. You could easily double the weight on the leg press. If you don't feel anything the next day go up 5 pounds in weight on all the other exercises. If that's too easy go up in weight again the next time and find out where your failure-point is.

your cardio is wiping out your muscle gains ... plus the undereating. I would not do cardio on strength days if i wanted to build muscle. Man-up and eat them anyway. Try eating raw instead of steamed - i hate steamed broccolii and cawliflower and carrots but i like them raw. Try it w/ a little bit of hummus or home-made black bean dip. Fresh peapods are also awesome raw.

i make my own protein bars with whey, rolled oats, almondbutter, eggwhites and nuts (and water, you could use whole milk). Yummy, easy, portable, and more cals than just protein shakes.

toysbigkid - find a lower-sugar yogurt or just switch to cottage cheese (more protein in there anyway). Because of Insulin Resistance i need to keep my sugars/starches low and most yogurts are stupidly high in sugar.

Under 100. Personally speaking, if i go under 50g per day i get cranky and i'm less functional and have less energy, but about 80-100 is no big deal. How much to you generally get per day? I don't crave carbs like some people do so i'm just natually low-carb, it's not really something i focus on too much.
