It sounds like an allergic reaction. I'm allergic to a lot of stuff and my kids to some. The older one can't eat the skin of apples, peaches, etc. but he can have them peeled. Allergies like this tend to build up over time. I would keep benedryl on hand. (That would make the symptoms that you're having now stop). More…

You can work it into your calories. Everything in moderation.

I do better at home. My willpower and discipline are nearly non existent in the real world. I'm ok with a packed lunch but not actually eating out.

Sounds so good! Thanks

It seems like a lot of people have this problem. I know that I do. I have just started adding 2 tbs of ground flax seed twice a day. I put it in protein shakes or yogurt and it really seems to be helping. I hope that this helps.

I've made it twice. The first time was with ground beef and black beans. The second was with ground turkey and pinto beans. I didn't have cumin so I used paprika both times. I have two papers to write and all I can think about are cheese doodles. That's my study food. Even the dog is confused.

Sounds to me like there is something else going on. Maybe you have a little bug. I can't see how eating breakfast one day can cause this. Then again...the thought of eggs make me ill. I hope you feel better.

I was pretty sure that you were talking about Shin Splints so I looked it up for you. I hope this helps. Many athletes get shin splints -- also called tibial stress syndrome -- at one time or another. Whether you jog daily or just had to sprint to catch a bus one day, you may have shin splints when you feel throbbing and…

Amazing! You look like a different person. You should be very proud.

Sounds like you're coming down with something. I would try to eat normally and if there is no change by tomorrow, I'd call the doctor. Not an expert. Just a mom. Feel better.

Nice story. Sounds like a great day for the both of you!
