I've got Banish Fat Boost Metabolism but I won't do it more than once a week as doing it on my wooden floor starts my shin off. Yet I can successfully do my C25K programme with minimal problems. You could try strapping it up if you really enjoy doing this as opposed to something lower impact, and icing and taking ibuprofen…

I'm nowhere near that stage but did hear a good tip the other day - whatever you decide to use, give it a trial run first. Poor girl on my podcast tried something new and had crippling stomach cramps, obviously what she'd had didn't agree with her.

How about cheap/free 5 starred apps on iTunes? Or youtube for form? Good luck!

I forced myself to eat a Marks and Spencer's Tuna and Three Bean Salad the other night (looked far too healthy ;-)) and it was not only really nice, but 355 cals and with the beans so filling I could hardly move afterwards. Loads of protein and fibre, and quite good on the salt, definitely recommended!

Thank you.

Two things here for me: and:
-
Right in the middle of healthy for me, that's my aim as my weight fluctuates a bit anyway. However, I'm aiming lower for a race next year when it'll take all I've got just to get me around, so I plan to lose even say 4lb more or so to help with that :-)

Sorry you're finding things difficult, are you eating and sleeping enough? I find that being quite regimented (especially on sleep) works well for me, otherwise a 'normal' day can be tough without adding exercise in. I'd also make sure you get plenty of Omegas into your diet, or take a supplement too.

Please, please, please, clone your brain and swap it with mine ;-)

Morning! November will bring for me...a healthy BMI! What's everyone else's aims for the month?

Hahaha - seriously, go for the dry tandoori and tikka dishes, or tomato based - avoid anything that looks fried/buttery/creamy. Naan breads are pretty bad too (they would be, I love them!) Or you could build a spike day in and just eat small portions of what you fancy - just don't go too mad. Hope you have a good time.
-
Re running through them - not a good idea at all. I'd definitely go an see a Dr first, if only to rule out compartment syndrome. I've had the poxy shin splints - I got them years ago in both legs which I 'ran through' - collapsed in a heap in the end, couldn't go any further. Years went by, started again and the left leg…

Guessing you're on 1,200? It get's hard doesn't it. For breakfast I have oats made with water and half a cup of blueberries - got this off of a friend on here and you don't feel deprived as the blueberries have plenty of flavour. Or I'll have two medium boiled eggs, or 150g Total 0% fat greek yoghurt with a teaspoon of…

White chocolate toblerone. Whenever I go away I can't wait to get to the airport and buy one, it generally doesn't survive the flight!

Decent night sleep. Sorry, not what you had in mind I'm sure.

Cropped tops and skinny jeans - should only be worn by Kate Moss. The most unflattering outfit available in my mind!

Lady of leisure with a fast metabolism and a lifetime subscription to handmade Belgian truffles.

'Older' ie over 30 I should say!
-
No, the reverse. An older man with no 'history' rings alarm bells for me! Preferably no mental ex constantly vying for attention though please ;-)

When you're done, could you pop around mine and put the washing out? It's a bit nippy out and I can't be a*sed to put something warm on my feet. Thanks everso, you are a gem.

Amazing - please lend me your tummy I'd happily parade around in a bikini if I had it! Congrats!

I've never really been accused of being cute, even if I came across that way (I don't think I do!) then I think the sneering might prevent a re-occurrence! Mmm guess if you're little and like being little it's ok? Just not for me, I'd rather someone said I managed a situation well then told me I was cute as a…

Lol ^^ as usual agree with MaLisa! I've had times blissfully happy with men and others where I couldn't care less if I was single forever. If you're feeling happy at that moment, then you're doing the right thing :-)
-
I wouldn't like to say as I'm not a qualified to do so but just wanted to say congratulations on all the changes you've made to your life and health, and I'm sure you're determined enough to find a way out of your plateau in no time at all, well done!

Mine's lashed up really tight under my bra. To start with I didn't like the tightness at all, but yesterday I realised I'd kept it on when I cooked dinner, I've got so used to it. My OH recommended just dampening the back of it if it doesn't pick up a signal straight away, but mine's been ok for me.

(Truth of the matter is yes I did get the windows replaced and I'm paying some stupid APR for em, but that's not funny!)

Don't care was made to care! (quoting Grandad, RIP :-) )

I've always said I'd rather have a bit of cake, but I was a quiet spectator this morning, and very happy too. After all, there was no cake in the house :-)
