  • I agree....it is toxic sludge for your body! It is a powerful poison and I hate the fact that even though I have not eaten it for a while, I'll do something, like go camping with a group where they make white bread toast and Oscar meyer bacon and before I know it I have eaten a ton of it without thinking! Hello starch and…
  • Medical Laboratory Technician Program Coordinator at a community college.... Clinical Laboratory Scientist by degree. I now have a desk job which = eating too much and exercising too little. I miss they days of being on my feet all day in the lab.
  • I just joined a local running club in my town (Green Bay Wisconsin) and the most popular HRM is the Garmin 305. It tracks miles/pace, and heart rate. I just ordered one today. $128 on amazon.
  • Thanks for putting out the fabulous "current friends" disclaimer! I was worried for a sec! :noway:

  • cytosport Muscle Milk Strawberries and Cream :) mix with silk unsweetened almond milk - only 35 calories a cup.
  • Yeah, slow down a little on the excercise. Make sure you eat your exercise calories and increase your intake a little. Look up zig zagging too. That worked for me.
  • Great advise! Besides, once you get used to eating your veggies without poison (IBNB spray) on them OR butter, you don't really miss it.
  • It is much healthier to use a tsp of real butter which only has 30 calories. To me it is worth the extra 30 calories for wonderful flavor that is actually good for you. You can burn 30 calories walking through the produce section of the grocery store, or just the physical act of cooking will burn that 30 :)
  • That IS exciting. I used to run, but gained 70lbs with having 3 kids. I have since lost 25lbs and I am starting to run again. It feels so good to be able to run several miles without stopping.
  • I don't have one and cannot afford one and I am losing just fine.

  • peanut butter, almonds, and a hearty protein shake in the first half of the day. They will help you maintain or grow lean muscle mass which will help you lose weight faster b/c they are so full of protein. My protein shake after I work out is almost 400 calories sometimes and it makes me feel great! You have to eat some of…
  • look into zig zagging. You should still be losing it you are eating 1300 calories. That is very few calories. Try eating about 1300-1400 a day everyday....also....are you eating your exercise calories? If not, you might be in starvation mode.
  • You'll be far better off than me - I have 3 kids. I use St. Ive's elasticity lotion and alot of it. I also do red light therapy at my gym and that seems to have improved it. Those are inexpensive options. I have also taken up running as I have slimmed down. That seems to have flattened my stomach the most. The constant…
  • YES! Not many people can say they have run a half marathon, ANY pace is great!
  • You might want to share your diary with your friends in the settings tab. I hit a plateu, but then started zig zagging calories. Do a search on that. I lost 1.5lbs this week and I ate 1200 calories for 2 days in a row, then ate 1600, then back down to 1200, then to 1600 again. It confuses your body so it doesn't sit in…
  • I agree with the clothes thing. I don't want to buy more to just have to buy MORE when I lose the next 20lbs.
  • Mizuno....don't know where you live, but after you find what you are looking for, if you have a Rogans, check there. They had BOGO. They were $100 but with the BOGO, you save half on a second pair so it is a good deal.
  • DONT WORK OUT! You will retain the water you drink during. My suggestion......drink a small strong cup of coffee - less than 6 ounces.. This will make sure you poop before you weigh and get rid of extra water you might have b/c it will make you pee. Might help you shed an extra lb or so. I used to do that before my weight…
  • I agree...eat more, not less. If you are nursing full time, you should add 500 calories every day. Try adding some more protein as well.
  • I don't say a WORD to them about it. They don't need to know. When you go to eat with them, have a plan....eat everything in moderation and they won't notice. Make sure you complement what they are making for dinner. If they give you a hard time, say, "I just don't feel that great". Then they don't question it. When you…
  • Same here, but it is getting tough to stay in the $800 with grocery prices going up....diapers don't help either.
  • I ONLY add those to my protein shakes before or after a big workout....they are not worth the calories and sugar on a low calorie rest day.
  • What is quinoa? I LOVE hummus, but I tend to eat 8 servings of it with 50 pita chips which is about 400 calories down the hatch which is why I stopped buying it.
  • Yes, eggs, eggs, and more eggs! The cheapest protein around!
  • http://www.latortillafactory.com/retail.aspx There is the website that lists the retailers so you don't have to buy the tortillas on amazon. I found them at our large grocer by the "healthy foods". But I have seen them at other stores by the tortillas. They are room temp, not refrigerated.
  • look up zig zagging and take that week off of working out! After that week you will likely have lost. When you overwork muscle, you damage it (in a good way) and it retains water. THEN, add different exercises to your routine to confuse your body. The weight will start coming off again. Also, are you eating enough and…
  • Sounds wonderful! I shall get some!. I don't think splenda is a problem unless you are putting 6 packets in your coffee and drinking 8 sodas a day. We might found out it causes cancer in a few years, so might as well enjoy now, right?
  • DO NOT MAKE MORE THAN YOU WILL EAT!!!! I just made about 10 of these and planned on eating 2 but ate 4. Also.....plan a glass of milk to rinse them down. Super yum.
  • 50 Calories a shake? Really? How many grams of protein and how many net carbs (carbs minus fiber)? I currently use Cytosport Muscle Milk. I like the strawberries and cream. It is very pricey though and has about 150 calories a scoop. Ooooh, one other thing!!! Go to the milk section at your grocer and look for Silk…
