Set all of your workout clothes out the night before so you can roll out of bed, dress and go. Make sure you know your workout plan the night before so you don't think about anything in the morning. Once you finish, you will feel great and ready for the day.

My first half was three months after i started running. My first full was a 15 week plan. It isn't as bad as you think. Get a good plan and stick to it. Knowing what you have to do each day takes the guess work out of it.
