In my experience you can build muscle while at a deficit, but it is difficult and requires precise tuning of your diet to fit your physique and genetics. Even so while loosing weight it would take me 2-3 times as long to put on the same muscle that I did while at a surplus. You've got to make sure you are hitting the…

Someone's been doing their squats. Good work.

That choice would depend on a lot of factors such as how much are you really working out, how are your energy levels, how many calories are you already eating, and what your goals are. My general recommendation, since calories burned estimates are highly optimistic, is to not eat back your calories. For a newbie I would…

Your mid section is connected to you pelvis, chest and back. Expand the muscle in those areas and your midsection will lean out. Mind that you should work out your entire body.

You don't gain stretch marks by loosing weight, they can just become more/less apparent when you loose weight(you probably notice them more because you are looking at yourself in the mirror more often). That said lotion can help as it hydrates your skin and encourages healthy skin cells. They will become less apparent over…

If I was you I would find a UFC figther, or athlete that is your height and looks like what you want to look like and set your goal to his weight. Perhaps have a goal to only gain .5 lb's a week that's 250 calories more than your TDEE. Eat that and focus on weight training. You don't really burn that many calories while…

Looking at your diary for the last three days, what appears to be wrong is that you are not tracking any of your meals.
-
Perhaps go in for hydro static testing and find out what your body fat is at. It costs about 50 bucks but it will give the most accurate BF measurement available outside of an MRI. If you are below 12% then I would focus on lifting weight. How much are you benching? If you aren't benching at least 200 lb's during your…

What ever you decide, just make sure that you are able to provide for you baby as much as it needs and for as long as it needs it.
-
Why not try it and tell us how you do? If we told you that it wasn't realistic, what is your plan B?
-
My question for you is: do you want to go through all the effort of dieting and exercising only to end up wondering if that 1 cheat day a week has completely screwed up your goals and has caused you not to loose any weight 4 weeks down the line?
-
Are you eating back your workout calories? If you are, that would be my primary suspect. Most activity calculators are computed using a 6-10% BF college athlete with a high VO2 max and weighing around 160lbs and then scaled to your weight. What this means is that in your case the calculator is assuming that you are a 339lb…

All you can do is return to your regular dietary habits. You don't want to yo-yo day to day with your calorie intake. Try to keep it consistent.
-
Do you think that you could sustain your level of activity daily? Without knowing your weight I would say feel free to experiment with it. The typical downfalls are that you may feel energy deprived and stop working out. make up for your calorie deficit by binging/cheating, or become quickly demotivated and quit your diet.…

What did you do to burn 400 calories? Run 5 miles in an hour?
-
My problem with most prepared food(restaurants more so than fast food) is that your calorie mileage may vary. Some things like a McDouble are down to a science and are pretty consistent calorie wise(managers at these places are hawks, because 1 extra pickle is going to f up their inventory ;)). Other places however like…

I think so. My suggestion is to continue what you are doing as you are having success. If you are exerting yourself well during your cardio session you can slowly ramp up your speed over the next few months. This will cause you to slowly burn more calories and speed up your fat loss. The way I keep track of exertion is by…

I agree, this is not only important for weight loss it's important for becoming a better person. Emotions are there for a reason, they relate to tangible experiences in your life. Identify the experiences that have shaped your emotions and attempt to understand them. I couldn't stick to a diet until I realized what my…

Hmm protein powder in yogurt.... will try this.

Place a desiccant pack inside or use talcum powder(this is more messy but it works). Bacteria and mold can only survive if there is water present. Desiccant packs and talcum powder will remove said moisture killing the fungus/bacteria.

Not in my experience. My recommendation is to find a good chaser.

Provided that the measurements are accurate, looks fine. Might modify your macro nutrient goals as your fat goal seems a bit low compared to your carb/protein goals. Fat is required for the proper suspension of various micro nutrients.

As long as you stay under your limit you will loose weight. I personally stay away from sugary food because I find it unfulfilling and I get hungry quickly after. For example when I used to drink orange juice in the morning I would have 8 oz at 120 calories and have a nice sugar buzz and feel satisfied for only 30 minutes…

I Agree. I recently compared Tyson's pre-cooked microwavable chicken breasts, to their chicken thighs and the thighs were the clear winner. Definitely worth the 20 calorie difference per serving.
-
This is also a great alternative, and since they are separately packaged it's easier to grab and go. Tastes good too, granted it's at the price of increased calories, compare 170 cal, 18 g protein in muscle milk, to dynamatize's 106 cal, 25g protein per scoop.
-
Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard is a great standard protein powder with everything you need in it for a great price. Tastes bland in my opinion and doesn't mix too well with 16 oz of water, but for the price its unbeatable in my book. If you are willing to spend a bit more(25% more) I would go with the hydrolyzed whey…

It's super easy to get protein in your diet. I routinely hit 100 g a day. Tuna, sardines, clams, lentils, beans, ham and chicken are my go to protein sources. Canned tuna, sardines, oysters, and clams can all be eaten straight from the can. You can mix up your tuna with some mustard, onion, jalepenios and sweet pickles for…

I wouldn't worry about it unless the scale didn't move for 3 weeks on such a diet. At 350's a 5-8 lb daily fluctuation in weight might not be out of the question. I know at 250+ lb's I would fluctuate in weight by as much as 5 lb's. Keep at it, and do a 3 day average weight measurement.
-
I agree with this.

Perhaps take a photo of one of the 350 cal meals and post it. Also like another poster stated you might just need to give it more time.
