I hear ya! if you are a pear (like me..) I lose top to bottom..thighs are last to go! Grr!!:explode: But YES running and elliptical are a great way to go!!! Don't be afraid to do some weight training as well because they will look firmer and and boost your confidence! Don't give up! you are doing great!!! :smile:

If you're wondering..this is me sitting in an ice bath (torturous,:sad: but totally worked!) for the first time! Tore up my calves after a 12.7 mile hilly run last week, so this week tried this after my long run on Sunday..felt AMAZING on Monday!! So if you dare...try it!!! :wink:

I agree with taking your cell phone and letting someone know that you are out running. I think it may be more motivating if you are not running a little loop..that could get monotonous! I use the www.mapmyrun.com and map out my runs..it will also show your elevations if you need to add hill training. I use a bike path…

I feel exactly the same way! it will not hinder your loss, just stay within your calories and try to make all of your calories count by eating quality foodsl! :smile: good luck!

I am 5'7.5 and weigh 145...I think 150 is a great goal!! it really depends on your frame size..see how you feel when you accompish that and then decide if you want to work on mantainance or go a bit lower!
