You will achieve the flat stomach way before you get to 130. If not, you probably haven't lost weight in a healthy way.

I hate it when people are telling me I need to stop losing weight or that I am getting too skinny. People started telling me that when I was still 210 pounds. Annoying. You look good. You kinda look like Kim Kardashian now.

I was an Army Medic from 91-97. My career was not nearly as exciting as yours. I spent most of my time at Fort Drum, NY. Anybody who knows where that is knows that I don't miss it. I work for the Army now as a Military Analyst, have been for 4 years.

Here is one thing I would say about "cheat" days or "treat" days as I call them - if they are going to make you more miserable on the other days, don't do them. I think that will lead to failure.

Tora, we all get your point. I think where people objected is when you kind of appointed yourself as the arbiter of what people deserve. I would just be a little more careful with your wording...unless you like working people up. In that case carry on.

I'd use the word "Treat" day instead of "Cheat day". You can't ruin a lifestyle by treating yourself once in a while. Just don't let "treating" become the norm. I personally will just gorge myself from time to time, and I find that I have my best weight loss after I do. I think, for me, it boosts my metabolism.

LOL yeah I know. My message in this thread was simple - eat healthy, you won't crave, and it will be easy to limit your calories. I never endorsed ANY kind of calorie restriction. I've been losing weight for 14 months. I think if my metabolism was about to shut down it probably would have happened already.

I hear you, but the most dangerous health epidemic in the country is..........obesity. I'm not telling people to do extreme diets....those never last. I have even said in this thread that if you call yourself "dieting" you are going to gain all the weight back anyway. But this attitude that a lot of people have on here…
