When I signed up for this site, I didn't realize it had message boards and stuff. I thought it was just a site for keeping track of your nutrition and calories. So I just used my real first and last name. I should probably change it....but I don't think I've done anything too scandalous on here lol.

Controllled overeating lol. I know what you mean but that just doesn't sound right lol.

Who knew that I could get even cooler simply by aging lol. I am 43, have 10 pounds more to go, but more than that I just want to get my belly fat completely gone. Getting close. It's true these last few pounds are proving tougher than the first 90. The cool thing is that I am 43 and I weigh less than I have at any time…
How does having a binge once a week teach self control.
Binging once every ten - fourteen days works for me, but I found myself asking the same question lol. I do it because I want to and I think it wakes up my metabolism. I don't do it because I have to.

4 miles on 3/21 6 miles on 3/23 4 miles this morning 36.5 miles since 3/15

Exactly. It's the last place to go because it is the place where most people have the most fat. I've virtually eliminated fat from every other part of my body but I still have about 10-15 extra pounds of gut. Just have to keep working and keep the calorie deficit up.

It is a normal blip, plus you are getting to the point where the pounds will come off pretty slow anyway. I think you are eating plenty, but not too much to lose.

I blessed the rains down in Africa.

One day when I was at my absolute heaviest (274 pounds) I was telling a co-worker that my weight bounces up and down like Oprah Winfrey's, and that at one time not that long ago I was 206 pounds. She said "What are you now, 280?" Then it occurred to me that not only was I way overweight, but other people could actually…

Sam Rockwell as Wild Bill in The Green Mile He was pretty effing hilarious except for the murdering little girls part.

Yeah I think that is approximately true. The benefit of running is you get it done twice as fast. I hate running though, it hurts. I like walking. So it is an easy decision for me which to do. Edit - Ok, found articles that say you burn 20-25% more calories running a mile. Yeah still not worth it for me lol.
-
I simply walk 4 miles before work and 4 miles after work. MFP gives me credit for 400+ calories for each walk. Maybe that is too high, as someone suggested, but it's been working pretty well for me.

I won't be trying to answer the question you asked. You are a pretty young lady though.....don't think you need to obsess about the weight thing too much. Just eat healthy.

There you go.

90 pounds total since Feb 13. I lost the first 35 doing some unsustainable fad diets. Around October 1st I made a permanent lifestyle change with my diet, and I walk 25-30 miles a week. Lost 55 pounds since October 1st. Started 274, now I am 184. 5'11.

If you have a friend who is a Dr. or nurse, have them hook you up with a couple of pills of lasix. Will knock off 6 or 7 pounds of water overnight. You'll have to pee a lot. You might be risking jail time as well, but you will win the $300.

Your photo has to be on the internet. If it is right click on the photo and click properties, then copy the address. Then place the address between two brackets - "img" should be in the first set and "/img" should be in the second.

2 miles on the treadmill Monday 4 mile walk last night 4 mile walk this afternoon 2.5 mile walk tonight 22. 5 miles since I started tabulating in this thread on Saturday

I've lost 55 pounds since October 1st. I've done it by cutting all the junk out of my diet. I eat mostly chicken breasts, oatmeal, tuna, eggs with tomatoes and green peppers, lean ham and lean turkey. And I take protein shakes. I also walk 4 miles a day on most days and 8 miles on some days. I do strength exercises 2 days…
-
Yeah that's what I was thinking. I don't think it is very complicated. We start eating less and our system has less junk in it. It stays that way till we stop dieting. Then our system gets filled up with stuff again, and it looks like we just gained 5 pounds. But not really.

edit nevermind lol

You look great.

Eating all those bunnys will probably shock your metabolism back into gear and you will probably start losing again.

Sounds fun. I'll check it out. Did you ever see Snow Angels? I think it might be something you would enjoy.

Effing depressing. That movie ended badly for EVERYBODY. Not to spoil it or anything. The last movie I tried to watch was Wolf of Wall Street. It was surprisingly boring, and we got tired and cut it off in the middle. Haven't gotten around to finishing it yet.

Lunch was kind of boring today, but I enjoyed it. 2/3 cup of oatmeal with Splenda and cinnamon and a chocolate peanut butter protein shake made with almond milk. 410 calories.

I was wearing jeans with a 40 waist and they were not loose......yesterday I bought size 32. They weren't loose either but I got them on. I bought a brand new belt when I had already lost 35 pounds and I could barely fasten the first hole. It was really tight. I worked my way through all 5 holes and yesterday I had to buy…

I can believe you still had some belly fat at 170. I was a similar size to you when I started losing weight. I was a couple of inches taller and about 13 pounds heavier, 5'11 and 274. Now I am 185 and I still have 10 - 12 pounds of belly fat I want to get rid of. I can see myself getting into the high 160s before it is…

Seriously. This site has a bunch of super cool nice people, but it also has more than its fair share of sanctimonious know-it-alls.
