So, are you saying for instance, 100 calories of protein is the same as a 100 calories of carbs is the same as 100 calories of fats???

So, are you saying for instance, a 100 calories of spinach will behave the same as 100 calories of banana?

For me its sweets. They used to taste awesome as a kid, now they just taste bloody aweful! They make my brain swirl. I used to hate cheese also, now I love it, even though....it gives me nightmares! I think its all to do with how we mature - our tastes change, opinions change, we change.

Agree, to an extent. You'd have to drink a lake full of coffee, tea, etc to become dehydrated because of the water to 'relevant ingrediant' ratio. I wouldn't be counting alcoholic beverages in this. That's dehydrating for sure. But yes, drink water. Water is water - juice is juice - etc, etc. I have a half gallon bottle I…

Are we even presented with a choice in a post human society?

Of course your going to lose weight by counting calories, all I'm saying is, there is no need to. Just make better choices! The consistency in making better food choices will result in weight loss. I'm not saying you have to eat the equivalent calories in a damn pizza to make up for the loss! I think everyone need to weigh…

Don't concern yourself too much with what others think. Just go for it dude! (I eat two cans of fish per day at work, colleagues have gotten used to it)

A kilogram of walnuts. Very nice!

Yup, if you crave the things you enjoy, then just limit them, don't completely cut them out.

If you feel you don't need to supplement protein, then don't. Sounds like you get enough from what you've listed through your diet. Protein will help build, maintain and repair muscle mass. It will also help your appetite remain satiated longer, as will fats. But it won't help burn calories, as it will contain calories…

If you wash the cake too, YES! Oh! and if you cut the cake in half, you halve the calories, but then....you can eat twice as much!!

Keto is low carb. The calories depends on you and your goals. Everyone is unique. Macro wise, you could start with say 5% carbs, 70% fats and 25% protein. But it'll also depend on the source of your calories. Eat good food sources.

Amazing!! Love bullet coffee. And eggs. And bacon. Delicious!!

Eat higher impact foods.

So it makes sense just to snack rather than risk over eating later in the day. Consistency over time will get you to your goal. The food you eat sounds great tho. Keep it up.

Far too broad to say 'stay away'. That would mean you can't eat poultry, eggs, avocado, etc. Its the oils I'd limit. But still then, you'd be missing out on a lot of fun stuff. It's the manufactured crap you should stay away from.

Perhaps eat more satiating foods that won't temp you to want a snack? Or just....snack, but make good choices when snacking. And drink plenty of water. What would you normally eat??

In the UK its 2%, but I wouldn't follow recommendations as gospel. Trans fats are uncommon in nature, meaning they are manufactured.

The only fats to avoid are trans fats.

Nope. Logging & tracking everything.

It's what the calories are made up of.

I have....a friend. Why is he not obese when eating 2000 calories over maintenance?! According to MFP he should be 15 stone?! Really clean diet. High protein, high fat, low carb. Last year he weighed the same but this year dropped 5% body fat. How's that explained?! He's eating more, but making better choices. No further…
