By a digital meat thermometer and a steamer basket. Preheat the over to 350-425 (it really doesn't matter) Take a protein (chicken breast, pork chops, etc...) Cover them with a seasoning (even salt and pepper alone will work) Line a baking tray with aluminum foil Jab the meat with the digital thermometer Throw it in the…

On the topic of the fins and hand cups, they would in fact decrease your calorie impact on a per mile basis, but since you judge based on time, I wouldn't be surprised if there was an increase in calories associated. To be on the safe side, I would just pick moderate activity, but that's just a suggestion.

Almost everyday I eat Ab-L Nature Valley - Sweet and Salty Nut Granola Bar - Peanut, 1 bar Campbell's - V8, 100% Vegetable Juice, 12 fl oz Coffee - Brewed from grounds, 1 cup (8 fl oz) Coffee-Mate (Original Powder) - 16oz Size - Creamer, 3 Tsp It's 267 calories. Coffee acts as an apatite suppressant so it holds me over…

It really depends on how many calories we're talking about. I do very little exercise, I walk about 40 minutes 3-5 times a week, and burn an astonishing* 207 calories. Whether I eat the extra 207 calories or not doesn't make a whole lot of difference in the grand scheme of things. If we're talking about intense exercise…

I target about $80 per week (~$350 per month); we switched over to the health food store recently and are running between $80-100 week now (~$350-435 per month). 2 adults and 1 toddler in central Florida *edit* Food and drinks only (diapers and the like don't go in the grocery budget)

Unless you're really really short I'm not sure it's possible to have 30% body fat at 125 lbs. You may want to recheck that number. Otherwise, my plan when I reach my goal is to switch from weight loss mode to work out mode. Do a little less cardio and lift a little more weights.

I've lost 22 pounds since January and I still don't see a difference. Everyone tells me it's noticeable, but I can't see it. Though, my size 38 pants are super loose and I had to buy a new belt because I ran out of holes. I still have 18 pounds to go. I imagine I'll see it then. If not, "C'est la vie!"

I might be able to meet the challange. May 1st: 212.4 lbs May 5th: 221.0 lbs May 16th: 211.8 lbs I traveled for two weeks for work and had to eat out almost every meal. I think a lot of the 221 was artificial water weight, which is why I dropped it so fast, but I'm net 0.6 down for the month. I think in 16 days remaining I…

This is a pretty good suggestion. Just add the corn starch slowly or you'll end up with gravy.

I know they don't track miles, but I just took the miles and used the basic 3 mph walking speed to calculate the time. I used 200 minutes at 3 mph (3.33 hours). It actually looks a little light for the 12 hours I was at the park, but it's an estimate and I'm ok with it. I got an HRM, but I didn't figure out how it works…

I got a step counter and recorded 10.6 miles walking around the parks throughout the day. A few years ago a friend brought one and recorded 16 miles. We definitely weren't running around at the same pace as the one a few years ago. So, a little over ten miles seems reasonable.

hilarious. thanks!

Office job = Sedentary Walking to work = Exercise A secondary thought, you may want to adjust your entered walking speed. 4 MPH is a pretty decent clip (15 min/mile). Unless you're hoofing it a more accurate walk is 3 MPH (20 min/mile). You could figure the speed out by finding how far you walk and dividing by how long it…

Do they do that? I had no idea. Heck yeah, I'm gunna pick one up tomorrow. Thanks!

I weigh myself at least once a day (when I'm home) sometimes 2-3 time. Generally my favorite weight comes in the morning and I record that weight. I generally check it when I get home from work and sometimes at night before I go to bed. I have a Wii and like to see the graphs on wii fit. I don't get concerned when I see it…

It may not be the best for some, but I like Shweedog's suggestion of having a drink. I should be about 407 calories under today (more if I decide to ride the bike tonight). Maybe I'll have a beer or even make the brownies I bought and have reasonable portion.
