Thanks for the tip. I am going to try it. Putting my fork down between bites does nothing for me. I heard chewing 20 times with each bite works too. But didn't do anything for me and I got tired of counting. LOL

so I don't eat snacks at work. I eat 1/2 my breakfast at home and then my other 1/2 within the first 30 minutes of getting to work about 8:30 am. 10:00am I go for a 20 minute walk which takes away my hunger if I have any. At 11:00am I start eating a salad slowly it will normally last me about 30 to 45 minutes depending on…

Thanks for all the comments. Glad to see I am not alone here on this topic. I will try to lean back more and keep my feet flatter. I noticed when I do use the machine like that the burning isn't so bad and I get a better work out. it's just harder to stay in that position when going at a high rate of speed. Someone else…

I am an emotional & stress eater, too! I really struggle with this. But when at work I keep hard candy in desk drawer or I chew gum. It helps me to have something in my mouth. I also bring in serving sizes of wheat crackers like Triscuts, wheat thins, ect and put them in little ziplock bags. I also find having sweet drinks…

M-F I eat FF yogurt and a piece of fruit. On the weekends I make scrambled eggs with leftover veggies and potatoes. I buy the diced potatoes in the can, drain the water and fry them in a skillet with only using Pam. Then I sprinkle them with cheese.

I have a HRM watch as well and I LOVE IT!!!! I have found it's pure motivation. I love to workout and then see how many calories I burned. I find it makes me work harder as well. I got mad the other day when in Zumba when the instructor didn't push us like she typically does because I knew that my calories burnt would be…

I have the Gaiam by Oregon scientific..it's purple, white and silver. I love it!!!! Plus it doesn't look like a typical HRM watch and there is no chest strap. What attracted to me to the watch was it's functions but also that is looked fun and pleasing to the eye. I work in an office and walk 3 miles aday during lunch and…

I love Zumba!!! I wear a HRM to find my calories. I average 700 + for the hour in some classes. That's a huge motivation factor. It all depends on the zumba class as well. I take 3 classes a week. 2 at the gym and they are pretty high intense and will burn over 700 calories for that hour. Then I take Zumba at work and that…

I am fighting with the water weight myself. I am curious to hear what others might suggest for us. I am up 2 lbs this week due to water. I do find eating water foods like watermelon, putting lemon in my water, etc. really helps me release water throughout the day. You might try something like that.

I am 5'4" and I seem to go back and forth between 158 & 160lbs. I wear and 8 - 10 depending on the cut of the pants and the brands. I know I can walk into an Ann Taylor store and an 8 will be perfect. But if I go to Gap I need a 10. So all my pants are either 8 or 10 right now. My goal is 135. I will be a solid size 6.…

my ipod is my bestfriend when working out. If I don't take it with my work outs are rather short. The music keeps me going.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the chocolate sauce and pancake syrup is really good too. I've been using both of these for years now. Not a fan of the salad dressings. The Asian dressing is tolerable. Not a fan at all of the peanut butter spread. And carmel dip was just okay. I've heard the Alfrado sause is really good. I have a…

Can't wait to try this. I love ranch dressing but not all the fat & extras it has in it.

One thing I didn't see anyone mention was Fat Free Plain Greek Yogurt! This tasted just like sour cream!!! I am a huge Mexican food lover as well. I eat Taco salads often. I love sour cream but not the calories & such so I switched over the Greek Yogurt and you wouldn't know the difference. A whole yogurt sized carton is…
