I thought the same thing when I first joined. I was eating more than 1/2 a days calories on meals that I thought was "being good"! Good luck on you endeavor, this site has been a real help to me.

Good luck Bill!!! Logging what you eat can seem over whelming but it is such an eye opener. This site has helped me so much. Another suggestion I can make that has helped me: When you eat out, look up the calories (on here or the restaurants website) and choose what you'll have before you go. Then order first so your not…

Hey, I'm here in cinci too! Love this site! Never realized how many calories I was eating until I started tracking on here. This site has really educated me....even when I thought I was doing good, I wasn't. I'm on track to a healthier me now though :-)

Look in to getting some of your favorites taken in. Most tailors can do even jeans and they don't cost nearly what new clothes cost. I wouldn't recommend it for everything, just the favorites. I would try a not so favorite first to see how the tailor does and if you like the look.

I step on the scale to log my progress every Monday morning. "Monday Morning! Are you crazy?" Having a Monday morning weigh in looming helps keep me focused on Saturday and Sunday. My work has a gym in the office and the fitness center has a bunch of DVD's. I believe they have the 30DS because I've heard some of the girls talking about it before. I'll start it on monday too! This is a great Idea!
