It's Friday, having some drinks, getting ready to go camping on Sunday and knowing I only have to work one day next week! :drinker:

The Walking Dead What is your favorite book?

My favorite breed is labrador retriever, specifically a yellow lab. I had one for 10 years before he passed away and he was so awesome...such a great disposition! I love most dogs though...even the big drooly ones.

I agree with being open and honest about it but maybe keep it more simple at this age...you can always revisit the subject again when she's a little older. I think it's so great that she felt comfortable enough to come to you and ask about it...that shows how much she trusts you...I was so embarrassed to talk about this…

That sounds like so much fun!

Love them! They are only banned in city limits but I live in a rural area so we can shoot them anytime around the 4th and New Years. I have to say though that I ALWAYS get injured...I think I am a flying firework magnet because it seems like there is always one that malfunctions and ends up flying and exploding on me. haha!

This is me too...I know I'm not a man but I have two sons and I try to be the best role model for them. Obviously I'm not perfect and my kids aren't perfect but I am starting to see my influence on them, especially in my oldest who is almost 9. The number one thing in our house is the "Golden Rule".

I used to love the puffs better when I was a kid...now it's crunchy all the way!

I don't eat things that taste gross to me...it's just a waste of calories in my opinion.

Kashi's Go Lean Crisp, Cinnamon Crumble and Wheat Chex are usually the only cereals I eat now as they keep me full longer.

This is what I do too...although it is usually much later, especially in the summer. I am not a morning person at all and 6am is the earliest I can wake up but that doesn't give me any time to work out.

I don't log gum but I probably should since I chew a lot of it...I will log the 7 m&m's that I eat but not the 7 pieces of gum that is probably the same number of calories. I think because I'm not actually swallowing it then I shouldn't have to log it...that makes sense, right?

I also like the Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Protein Double Rich Chocolate...I mix mine with unsweetened vanilla almond milk and about 1/2 frozen banana...so yummy! I have also mixed it with just skim milk and it does taste like chocolate milk using the Nesquik powder.

I agree with the posts above...it has kept me motivated to get more steps in...which isn't always easy because I have a desk job as well. I love that it calculates how many calories I burn and it has been pretty accurate for me when comparing to my weight loss. I've lost about 12 pounds using it since March and in my…

I'm 5'7" and after I had my 2nd child I weighed 168 lbs and lost 30 lbs in about 5 months with counting calories and exercising. I had my 3rd child in Sept 2012 and weighed the same, about 168 lbs and got down to 150 lbs just by eating healthier and keeping portion smaller but not really counting calories. In March of this…

The only reason I keep track of my macros is because my fitbit calculates the percentages based on what I input for food. Mine is 50% carbs, 30% protein, and 20% fat and I eat around 1700 calories per day...I'm usually a little under for carbs and protein and a little over on fat. Eh, I'm not too worried about it...I'm…

I've had good luck with calorie cycling (I think that's what it's called) in the past. I actually am now starting to lose again after a 3 week halt and I attribute it to switching up my calories. I usually eat around 1600-1700 and work out about 4-5 times a week...I also weigh absolutely everything and only measure…
