Don't know if this helps...but I was never skinny...the gym says I have a medium build...I weighed about 135 in high school, at one point in college I was 121, after my son was born I was 127...my doctor set my goal at 130. 134 has always been my "happy weight"...and my doctor said she'd be OK with that. Good luck!!

I am a little older, but I set my goal to be 1.5 and my calories are also at 1370. The first, like 12 days, I was having a rough time, but after that time, the hunger went away, I keep only foods I know I won't overeat (i.e., Lays chips are not in my house). That helps a lot. Yesterday, I only had 900 calories at the end…

I'm 5'8" in in about the same position with the same goal. :)

Start where you are at in terms of eating, and log everything you eat. Then pick something in your MFP food diary to change, like drinking only half as much soda, substituting water for the soda. Once you are doing that regularly, change something else. Add veggies one at a time. When I was your age, the only vegetables I…

Bone-wise, your hips won't shrink. Mine didn't. I weighed less after having my son than I did in high school, like 10 to 15 lbs less, but I couldn't even pull up my high school jeans. I was seriously bummed. But it was worth it to have him. :)

Congratulations!! You've done so well!! Thanks for the inspiration!

I think it has a lot to do with age and genetics. When I had my son, 22 years ago, I didn't try to lose weight. I was working full time, and nursing, so I was just trying to exist. I was at a "normal" weight when I conceived, gained 36 lbs. while pregnant, but lost 50, without trying, before his 4 month birthday. I was…

I'm slowly morphing from being a vegetarian to being vegan (no dairy, eggs, etc.) I drink soy milk...some people prefer almond milk...but I'm addicted to soy milk. ;) I like tofu, beans, so many different ways to prepare beans. Hummus on rice cakes, but get the good ones, not Quaker...nuts, like walnuts and almonds are…

I second this recommendation. See a doctor soon. You likely have a medical issue that needs attention. I'm older and shorter (5'8") and I could lose weight on 1200 calories at that weight. Good luck!!!
