Barilla makes a white wheat pasta that is awesome. Not lower in calories but higher in fiber. Smart taste make white pasta also. It's higher in protein and fiber.

As a mother of 3 children, no matter divorced or together, both parents have to be consistent with their routine whether it's bedtime, naptime, eating, etc. or it will not work. Just my opinion.

I found one of the best things is when you decide to cook (chicken for example), make extras and freeze it. You have chicken wraps, chicken for salads, pasta. Any dried beans are cheap and healthy. For a meat free day, make vegetarian chili with dried beans, tomatoes, onion and seasoning. High in fiber low in fat. Very economical. Pastas are high in carbs but if you load them with roasted veggies, it's really good. I like to make pasta salad with pasta, cucumber, tomatoes (etc)…

I bought some type of noodle one time packed in water. Those things had a rubber band texture with no taste. Idk if that's one you have though.

My all time favorite is a frittata. You beat eggs. Mix in any ingredients you like (ham, peppers, mushrooms, spinach, low fat cheese). Whatever you like. Spray skillet with nonstick spray. Yes! For sure. I found that if I make myself exercise, even for 15 minutes, it helps. (exercise is my down fall)... Also, a multivitamin helped. I'm married with 3 kids at home full time and my step son on weekends. So, being tired is to be expected but some days it's hard to put one foot in front of the other. I just push…

One of my favorites is to put it in a frittata. Mix eggs with baby spinach, 2% cheese, any other favorite vegetables (I love mushrooms), canadian bacon (or ham, turkey or bacon), salt, pepper, etc. Spray nonstick skillet. Add egg mixture. Let set for a couple minutes. Finish in the oven. Slice and serve. Yum!

I know the feeling. My initial goal was to lose 21 pounds. I lost 15 of that. It does slow down and is way hard. It's hard work no matter of age, size, gender, etc. But you got this!! Good luck!

^^^^^^ I agree totally. Organize yourself skinny has awesome mason jar salad ideas. That's where I got my ideas. Also, I take my soups in mason jars. Easy to carry. Tomato soup is awesome. I can drink it while I run errands at lunch.
