8 weeks ago I couldn't even run for 1 full minute, now I'm running for 29 minutes and I'm enjoying it more and more. Things I learned: - don't go too fast. Go slow in the beginning (a gentle jog), speed is something you'll work on later. - Good shoes! - It's ok to redo a week if you feel you need to. - feeling proud of…

Finished week 7 and starting week 8 on Monday :o I never thought I would be able to run this long. I just have no idea what to do after I'm finished. I want to do Bridge to 10 K, but when should I do that? Immediately after the c25k programme or should I work on my speed first for a month or two?

I have the exact same thing! It's like all my muscles are screaming and my breathing is really bad, after that it goes a lot smoother! Happy to hear I'm not the only one :)

I just did week 7 day 1 and I wouldn't say it's getting easy, but I am quite proud I can run for 25 minutes now :) I just need to work on speed in a few weeks. No clue how to start doing that :o

You just do it? :) I tend to run in the rain and the only difference I notice is that I don't get as hot as normal ;) Started week 5 and the first day didn't kill me. Bit scared of running 2x 8 minutes tomorrow though :o and 20 minutes in a row on Saturday :s

I do both, though I follow a different plan on the 30 day shred iow not every day. The only day that I run and do a shred together is on Monday's and I manage fine. I'm on week 3 of c25k and I'll be moving to week 4 this Saturday. :)

I struggled with my breathing too. I sounded like a horse that was about to die ;) I tend to force myself to breath slower. I inhale through my nose and exhale out of my mouth and do this in a steady flow, or at least I try the best I can. It does get better, but your whole body will have to adept. Small steps and if you…

You run in the rain ;) Trust me, I started 3 weeks ago and I'm now doing the 3rd week of c25k and I'm also doing 30ds (level 2, day 5) and I go running regardless of the weather. I actually find it nicer to run when it's raining since it will cool me off. My knee gets sore too, since I have no cartilage any more and I've…
