I've been vegan for 25 years. I've been raw for nine. Neither raw nor vegan is a weight loss plan. Unless you're one of those people on YouTube who eat nothing but bananas wrapped in kale, you're going to need a dehydrator, a high speed blender, a spiral slicer, a juicer.... Also, since you won't be cooking anything,…

Funny! 2 points!

They don't do an announcement post for weight gained. Probably because that would discourage people from accurately logging their weight.
-
I don't normally track fiber, but I just added it, and it looks like i get about 40g a day. My diary is open.
-
I had two c-sections too. One in 2001, one in 2009. I reached goal weight a short time ago, and while my stomach isn't perfect, (and it was the LAST place I lost weight) working out is helping.

Greetings! My name is Jennifer. I've been vegan for about 27 years, and raw for 9. Sending a friend request.

Aside from the previously mentioned red meat and leafy greens, another easy way to add iron to your daily meals is to cook in a cast iron skillet.

I prefer "geek." Sending a friend request.

I WANT one!

Kyle, TX- (just south of Austin) 27 degrees with a wind chill of 19.

Isn't that how Sumo wrestlers maintain their physiques?

Dr. Horrible's Sing a long blog.

Just ordered a ring snuggie from Amazon! Thanks to all for posting that!
-
There isn't any place near me to get them sized. I've been wearing my rings on my middle finger- or sometimes my index finger (at the end of workouts.) I'm a bit leery of having them fixed... I may wait until summer, when it's humid.

I'm 5'5" SW: 172 CW: 112 GW: 115 I just switched to maintenance.

Creepy. The man is the reason I've never been to Maine.
-
I'm unfamiliar with Overdrive. Checked the website and my local library isn't listed.
-
I'm waiting for the movie.

[quote="rml_16;30315565"I most recently finished (for myself) Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman. Not the best book ever, but enjoyable.[/quote] I agree. Anansi Boys and Stardust are my favorites.
-
Love The Last Starfighter. My favorite guilty pleasure movie is probably Reefer Madness, The Musical.
-
Love everything by Heinlein. And yes, that movie sucked.
-
I've never gotten around to reading Lovecraft, so I just downloaded his collected works. Which stories are your favorites?
-
I haven't read that yet, (it looked too depressing) although I love Eggers. I'm going to reread "A Heartbreaking Work Of Staggering Genius" soon- Amazon had it for $1.99. And I recently finished "The Circle" which was addictive.
-
Loved that book. If you haven't read Moore's A Dirty Job or the Bloodsucking Fiends books, those are equally hilarious.
-
I had never heard of that. Thanks- I'm definitely signing up!
-
I want to read both that one, and Mr. Mercedes, but they're both rather expensive for Kindle. Funny- It never bothered me to pay $25 for a hardback- but paying $12 for something that doesn't really exist I find kind of offensive.
-
I've never read that. It's funny how many books I haven't read because I really loved the movie. And yet, the book is always better!
-
Great! Now the next time I read that, it's really going to bug me! I was reading something recently, and the author was overly fond of the word "patina." By the end of the book I was flinching every time I saw it.
