Of course you don't burn a lot of calories when you are lifting. The benefit of calorie burn comes from increased muscle size. the larger the muscle the more fuel it requires.

I can agree with this to an extent. If you are on assistance you should give up some personal liberty. However, with us moving toward socialized medicine, I fear the gov can use this as an excuse to tax all Americans "for the greater good".
