In the first stages of a healthy fitness and nutrition program, the results will be INSIDE! Your body will feel really good running on clean foods, so it does it's improvements/repairs from the inside out! Go by how you feel. Soon how you feel and how you look will start to match up!

Run a couple miles. 20 minutes on a stairmaster or ellipitical at a sufficiently challenging level should also get you there!

You know, sometimes we put on muscle faster than we lose bodyfat. This can also cause the scale to go up. I gained a little since last week, but my other measurements went down, and so did my body fat.

Thanks guys! I definitely don't want to seem intimidating! But MFP is a great place to find people who support you, rather than try to throw cupcakes at you.(that's what it feels like some days, I tell them no means NO!)

I watch Heavy as well. I have not heard of Ruby, but I watch all my TV on Netflix, so I will check it out. The Biggest Loser is also on my list. I also feel motivated when I watch those shows. I'm taking a personal trainer course, and I think it would be great to help someone save their own life, like the trainers on Heavy.

@betina64 It depends on my level of activity. When I only work out once, I can typically stay under my original calorie goal. However, in preparation for my contest, I am doing two-a-days, which means I need more fuel to get through the day and my workouts. So now I am eating them, and still have an overall calorie deficit.

You might want to consider circuit weightlifting. It doesn't have to take much time, and by keeping your heart rate elevated, you burn more fat. Plyometric circuit training also gives good results. Nutrition also plays an important factor. When you are hungry, your body will store fat.

I don't really have a weight goal. I have made it to 14.5-14.7% as of this morning! I could use more friends to check out my food and exercise logs,…

Eating clean does not have to be tasteless! It can be delicious! You just have to learn how to do it. Try to find Clean Eating Magazine online and check out their recipes. Delicious.
