Try wearing it a little higher on your wrist, about an inch or so above your wrist bones is recommended, and make sure that it is snug (not tight) fit. For exercise, move it even higher up the wrist and make sure it is a little tighter. Edited to add: if that doesn't work, take it back and exchange for another one.
