Her first cell phone. Haha! I thought shoe phones were the coolest thing anyone had ever thought of! Wouldn't it be cool if all of us could have one, not just Agent 86. No need to find a dime for the pay phone.

Oh I really love this one!

Ginormous (not even sure how to spell it since it really isn't a word) And beginning a sentence with "I don't know if you know this but..." Do you care if I know it already? Ask. Are you going to tell me whether I do or not? Then just tell me.

I think outdoors is probably better overall but I switch it up - some days I just don't want anyone to see me so I hide in my basement and do the elliptical, rainy or super hot days I do the treadmill at the gym, other times I just feel like flying out my front door and down my road. Just keep moving, that's the only thing…

Get new shoes! I got in trouble with my running coach for having 6 month old shoes! No more than 500 miles on a pair of shoes for running/fast walking! Also try body glide - not sure if it'll help but it's worth a shot. Also, make sure you've got good socks - I like the kind that wrap tightly around the arch of my foot.

I love #2 and #4 but you look great in all of them!

^This. But, back when I was doing a biggest loser challenge at work and lost the first 25 lb, I didn't tell my parents who were out of town for the winter. Part of my motivation to stick to is was to surprise them when they came home. Sadly, it took my Mom a couple of visits after they got back in town before she noticed…

My old Huskey had a couple of very scary ones when he was a puppy but he seemd to grow out of it and lived to be 16. They are a very active breed - he loved to run! He was also pretty stuborn - would sit at the very back of our yard with his back to me and pretend he wouldn't hear me calling if he didn't want to come in.…

My 35th reunion is this summer and I'm still debating whether to go or not. I went to the 25th and it was sooo interesting. There were people there with grandchildren and people there just starting their families. Most of them were like strangers to me- I hung with a very small group in school, not the popular kids but not…

BTW, Lori and Jill, you ladies have some awesome times on the 5Ks for having just started! Keep up the good work! I'm doing a 5K for tornado victims this weekend and hope to finish in about 32 minutes and then have another one in June for lung cancer research which I'm hoping to do in 30 minutes. Keep up your good work!

Hi. I'm Kathy, almost 53 years old. I started walking 5Ks in 2009 - first one took almost an hour. Then I decided to run a little, walk a lot and gradually improved. I joined a "Biggest Loser" challenge at my gym - didn't lose much but I remember being amazed that I could run 1 mile without stopping after working out with…

I like to eat every few hours so I have many small snacks - that way I don't get hungry and PIG OUT. I like EAS Protein shakes - 17 grams of protein for 110 calories. Also like the small carbmaster yogurts- 60 calories. I munch on lots of carrots, 1/4 cup of nuts for a snack, and very small meals. That way I never feel…

People are trying to say nice things, let you know they notice your weight loss and hard work, but a lot of the things they say either come out wrong or, because we who have been overweight may be a little sensative, sound a little hurtful. You just have to laugh it off. Sometimes they don't say anything at all because…

That's AWESOME! I've had my eye on a pair of those but just can't bring myself to spend the $120 they cost here. But, if I ever get down to an 8 (US size) I think I'll splurge! I hope you enjoy them!

Hang in there - there are always a few in every crowd. But she's amazing and inspirational. My 77 year-old mom keeps telling me, if she'd known she was going to live this long, she'd have taken better care of herself and keeps pushing me to get healthy. Looks like you've had a wonderful influence in your life too!

I have found that eating a little more protein than this site calls for has helped me stave off some of the hunger pains and drowning my sorrows in water helps too. I just keep reminding my self that, sometimes, when my body is really thirsty, it gets confused and thinks it's hungry. A glass of water or a nice hot herbal…
