When I did the C25K this spring the days I ran varied based on weather, work schedule, etc. On the weeks that I managed to squeeze in 4 days I would repeat the 3rd day. I tried to keep a rest day in between my runs as I have a tendency towards shin splints. I always started the new week on Monday, which made it easier for…

Oreos with a blob of peanut butter! Oh my heaven!! :) Also BBQ potato chips and Red Robin's Whiskey River BBQ Chicken Wrap with lots of steak fries dripping with ranch.... This thread is making me HUNGRY!!!

Weight watchers is now doing points plus, which is different from the old points. Almost all fruit, including bananas, is zero points which turned out to be a big downfall for me. I like MFP better because it's so much more accurate. WW works great for some people. I found our leader annoying and found I did better on my…

I did a month of the 30 day shred, and I loved it! I still use it several days a week. I rented the 6 week abs, did 1/2 the dvd and sent it back- hated it! I would definitely recommend the 30ds. I also like No More Trouble Zones (it focuses on traditionally flabby places-including abs).

Thanks! Makes sense. :)

I measured it before putting it on my toast the first few times, until I got a feel for how well it covered the bread.

The soreness started fading out for me around day 6-7. Then came back when I moved up to levels 2 and 3.... Different moves, different muscles! :)

Great motto! Every day I have to make the decision to make good choices. For me after dinner snacking is the killer. Still working on how to solve that one successfully! :)

Balloons! I'm okay if they're tied up for decorations and nobody's touching them. I have to stand way back when they fill them for my kids at Red Robin, and if I see a little kid chewing or squeezing or playing with a balloon I have to leave the room immediately! I also usually can't be in the same room if someone is…

The calories on the freedieting.com website already has your exercise built in. So the calories it gives you are total calories, not net like on MFP. So I do my heaviest workouts on the days that I get to eat the most, so I'm not starving on those days. I also changed them around as far as which days I eat so many calories…

When I started my weight loss journey last August, I had to lose 23 pounds to reach that magic "just overweight" number. Took me about 6 months, but I was so excited when I got there! I told my friends (most of whom are much skinnier), "I'm no longer obese, now I'm just overweight!" They acted like I was crazy! Now I've…

157.4 this week. Down 1.6... woo hoo! I've had a horrible sinus infection for the past week and a half and have not worked out AT ALL. Finally felt well enough to go running this morning (C25K WK 8). Only 2 weeks until my 1st 5K (on July 4th!)

Me too!! YAY! :) Gotta enjoy it this week cuz it won't happen next week! :)

159.0.... Yay for the 150's!!! (AND down 3.2 for this week...woohoo!)

When I was little I used to put peanut butter and a slice of cheese on a piece of bread and then broil it in the toaster oven. So yummy! My family thinks it's gross, but I love to dip grilled cheese sandwiches in pickle juice (Actually my husband thinks it's gross. I've totally converted my 8 yr old son!)

Did Level 3 Day 5 this morning. Down 2.8 lbs this past week. Yay! I am going to do my measurements tonight to compare with when we started the shred last month. Hopefully this will be a less stressful week at work, so I can keep getting up in the morning to workout. Have a great week!

The scissor kicks and the jump lunges are my least favorite moves. I have not been getting enough sleep, and my job has been HELL this week, so I slept through workout time again this morning. Gonna try to get to bed early tonight, so I can get in day 5 in the morning...

I'm still here!! Definitely have not been consistent the last few days. I did Level 3 Day 4 (I think) today. The plyometric movements kill me! I guess that means I need to do more. :) I really noticed it in my lower back. I think I overcompensated for my flabby abby!

Level 3 Day 1 done! I don't know if I'm just a weenie this morning, but I had to stop (briefly) quite a bit. We'll see how it goes tomorrow.
-
Did Level 2 Day 9 today also. And I agree... I'm not sure I'm ready for level 3. My son and I watched part of it yesterday, and holy moly! I'm pretty sure I will be walking funny at work by the end of the week. :) The squat V flys and the plank jacks are the killer for me.
