Apostrophe's in the wrong place's. No, but really. Apostrophes in the wrong places.

Love the title of this thread... Turkey, avocado, and mustard. Very delicious and filling.

I eat pasta once a week. Sometimes it's "healthy" pasta made with whole wheat but often it's just plain old Barilla. I measure it and control my portions. I have never had a problem with it. I'm sure that it is an issue for people with blood sugar problems, but I have no idea about those. For me, life wouldn't be worth…

I do, three times per week. I do P90X classic as well (I've done a few full cycles of it - now I don't ever do the Yoga and modify a few of the others...). I wake up and do that in the mornings during the work week. Three nights during the work week, I also run. On the weekends I do a long run and a short run, and…

I second the vegetarian chili recipe from Allrecipes.com. It's delicious, freezes well, and very affordable. Here's the link: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/the-best-vegetarian-chili-in-the-world/ The other crcokpot recipes I have are delicious but not quite as healthy. I make a mean pot roast in it: 1) Flour the roast and…

I have no advice except to say that when I was working two jobs in the fall, I had a very hard time getting more than 3 workouts a week in. I was cocktail waitressing at night until 2 AM and then getting up and going to work the next day. I know what you mean about needing a couple days to recover. I found that I actually…

No but I do believe that you need to feed your body correctly if you want to shed fat but gain muscle. People who eat too few calories do lose weight and eventually, if they continue, become underweight. I struggled with this when I was an undergrad and became obsessed with nutrtition. I was way too thin because I only…

I run in Brooks Ariels because I need the motion control and I love them. However, I purchased these after having my run analyzed at a running store, which I highly recommend. I believe that some brands are better for flat footed folks like myself while others work for those with high arches.

Me too! I'm sensitive to all dairy, particularly milk and cream, and when I was in preschool I had an evil teacher who made me drink milk before I got to play. I would guzzle it, vomit, and then go on my way. This went on a for a week or so before my mom found out and chewed her out. Thinking about it still makes me…

I'm terrified to try pickled eggs. Every time I see them in the gas station I vomit in my mouth a little. Maybe they're delicious but I doubt it.

I have no idea. I'm commenting so I remember to check back when someone answers who does know. I did catch a bit on the news that people who participate in intense cardio, like running, spinning, or anything that gets your heartrate into the upper levels for longer periods, actually burn calories long after the exercise is…

You look gorgeous in all of them! I vote for the pink on top but I'm partial to pink. All are great choices. :-)

Did you see the pictures of Helen Mirren in her bikini? http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2008/07/16/article-1035510-01F6B66400000578-643_468x815.jpg She can do it at age 60 and some change, and you can too!

I am sure that it is important to track sugar is you have blood sugar issues. That being said, I never, ever tracked sugar both times I went through my weight losses after my two pregnancies and was successful in spite of it. I did however track fiber and sodium, but if I went over on those I didn't beat myself up. I am a…

This is great. Thank you so much for you posting pics. Your butt looks amazing. I have a very large rear that is starting to head south and I want to prevent the drop for as long as possible. I will most definitely look into the butt bible.

I heard that the dragon business was kinda slow these days but sex never seems to go out of style. Great job security!

I'm a librarian, but not the shush shush, bun-wearing type.

Damn girl, Jillian would be proud! You look AMAZING! It isn't Jillian that made your abs look that way, though. You did. Be proud of all of your hard work! Great job!

Your daily calorie goal will be adjusted as you lose weight. I would recommend sticking with that MFP recommends for a while and seeing how it goes. It's easy to make adjustments after a few weeks. Good luck!

I agree that many of us women (particularly ones like me who have had kids) have stretch marks and loose skin. I had twins and have the unfortunate "twin skin" that comes from my stomach getting so, so big as it accommodated two little human beings and I have stretch marks. I wear a bikini. I get high quality suits that…

It's true that your abs won't show if you have a layer of fat over them, so yeah. I think achieving your ideal body (anywhere from healthy and toned to downright muscular, wherever you fall on that scale) is 90% eating and 10% exercise. That being said, cardio exercises that put you in fat burning heart rate zones help…

You're cute and very athletic looking.

It's been my experience that nobody really cares what other people are doing unless they are trying to compete with them. When I belonged to a gym, I was intimidated about lifting weights and using the machines with the dudes at first too. I got a few sessions from a personal trainer to make sure that my form on all of the…

Have you been fitted for running shoes at a running store? Shoes can make a big difference in how you feel and in preventing injury. That being said, I've been a runner for 13 years and even now sometimes have to take a couple of Advil after a longer run. I agree that it's worse in the beginning.

So first of all, great job on making all of your lifestyle changes! It sounds like you're very committed. Second, three lbs gone is great. Losing more than 2lbs a week is unhealthy and 1lb per week seems to be the average. You're losing weight at a healthy pace. I can't see your diary so I can't offer more advice. I will…

Hmm my HRM actually tells me my estimated calorie burn. Google your specific model. I think most of them have this capability but I could be wrong.

Incredible! You look fit, healthy, and beautiful. Great work!

Aww thanks but I'm 31. :blushing:

@ Ranger... I'm guessing 28 from the abs and the undies.
