I'm not a skinny person but I have lost nearly 40lbs! and the last 8lbs were due to lean clean eating. I had hit a plateau. I eat lots of berries, veggies, nuts, lean protein (chicken breast, lean ground beef, tilapia), brown rice... just to list a few :)

Completely agreed! I have definitely made major improvements since eating healthier.. I do eat a lot more fruits, veggies. nuts and lean meats. I cant lie, I do have moments when I miss junk food, but I feel like crap for at least 2 days with bloating and so forth... thank you for all your input!

AGREED! I have been doing so much better since I started eating cleaner and leaner. I do believe in supplements just don't like the whole lose 5lbs in 5 days ads... it just seems like fluff to me

@Sidesteal, he has a show today an appetite suppressants. Just seems too good to be true. I just have fallen for this type of fads in the past, and they simply do not last.. temporary solutions

My first 5K last September was a little over 38mins, I did one last month and finished in 31 mins, you're doing awesome :) BTW I was never an athlete, I decided to start running last summer right before my 30th bday :)

I too would love to do some long distance running, my longest run has been 6 miles :( but I am getting there slowly. I have a water bottle belt too, and I fill one of them with coconut water... not sure why but it helps me stay hydrated and do not feel sick at all with it... love all the suggestions and will keep them in…

I started working from 4-12:30shift at my job. Although it is not an overnight shift, it has been a huge adjustment. The key is definately going to the grocery store and planning ahead, I cook during the day and bring my dinner and snacks. Gotta be really careful, I had a few slip ups and ate the cookies/chips/sweets…
