A huge pile of hot buttered sauteed baby spinach and a grilled chicken breast. Yeah, I'm simple like that. :)

This would be true if the person had actually offered real advice, rather than suggesting vague, condescending generalities that OP obviously already knew.

Peanut butter, avocado, cheese, whole milk. You do know there is a user-friendly database on this site than tells you the calorie count of almost every food known to man, right? Why are you asking us?

How about you mind your business and they mind theirs. I can't imagine getting so panty-twisted over something so stupid. Have a cookie or something, you sound hungry.

It's a vetting process. If someone can't read and follow simple instructions posted on my profile, (your examples are extremely exaggerated for the most part) then clearly they are a.) too stupid or b.) too lazy comply and are therefore not worth my time. I also explain why I require a message with FRs, because if I don't…

I really truly don't like getting wet (in a pool). It is a hassle. To change into a suit, then shower, dry off, lotion up and get dressed afterwards is significantly more of an annoyance than any pleasure I get out of swimming. And I HATE what chlorine does to my hair. Add that to the fact that I don't like getting my hair…

20 pounds is nothing, you can do that no problem. :) Stick to a reasonable calorie deficit, choose an activity you enjoy that gets you moving, and consistently log your food. That's pretty much it, in a nutshell. Good luck!

We can't tell you what happened without any background info from you. Has your diet changed? Workouts? Medications? Can you post pics so we know what you mean by "rounded"?

Husband also made a grilled salmon fillet, with a lemon cream caper sauce, served over spaghetti noodles. A little heavier meal, lots of butter and cream, but for a splurge, it was absolutely amazing. I'm daydreaming about it now...

My husband makes a spectacular teriyaki salmon with grated carrots and sauteed broccoli, served over steamed white rice. I go nuts for it, and I HATE fish. And as long as you don't go too overboard on the sauce or rice, it's pretty low calorie, and really filling. I'm not sure how he makes it, I do know he makes his own…

Because my husband has a remarkably sweet-natured baby face with china blue eyes. If he didn't have a beard he'd get carded for dry ice (He's 30). It would also make trying to have married-fun-time awkward if he still looks like an 11 year old. I'm not for that. He likes to grow his mustache out and wax and curl it,…

Merderma is actually meant for full-on scars, not stretch marks. If you are looking to recude the looks of stretch marks, I found Elastin3 worked the best for me for my baby stretchies. I don't have any before pics (I was too horrified to document it, they were BAD) but they're pretty much as invisible as they'll ever get,…

Work out in the morning. I'm in bed by 9:30 most nights to get up at 4 to go to the gym. Paradoxically, the days I get up early and crank out a hard asskicking at the gym are the days I have the best energy, and am not as hungry.

We had to put our family dog, Jemima, down about a month ago. We got her for free off the side of the road when we were kids as a tiny puppy in Guanajuato, Mexico 17 years ago, and she became a member of the family. She was obviously really old, and had been declining in health for some time, (we knew she had cancer, but…

If you don't have much to lose, I'd shoot for .5-1 lb a week.

I use Trutein protein powder. I buy it on Bodybuilding.com. It's not exactly cheap, but the flavors are all delicious, the vanilla is really versatile. It's around $50 for a 5lb tub, or about $1/scoop.

It's not special. Some people choose to cut out animal products for ethical reasons. Eating less/no meat can lead to reduced risk of heart disease, but aside from that there is nothing magical about it. Celiac disease is congenital condition in which the intestines are unable to absorb a protein found in wheat and barley.…

Are you considering veganism? If you are thinking about it from a health standpoint, no, vegans are not inherently healthier than other people. In fact, vegans need to pay CLOSER attention to their diets to make sure they are getting all the nutrients they need that are harder to get without animal products, particularly…

My food scale.

MFP is quite notorious for setting calorie goals FAR too low, regardless of height and weight. For example, it told me to eat 1200, and my BMR (the bare amount of calories I need to LIVE) is 1280. And I am extremely tiny, only 4’11 ½. So unless you are smaller than me, or bedridden, it is almost a CERTAINTY that you are…

I buy Fuji and Honeycrisp apples, and they are usually 250-300g, too. I usually cut them in half and save for later/share with my son.

There is no reason to give up any of those things you listed, unless you have an allergy, or a medically-related reason to. Cutting them out will have no real effect on weight loss. Only a consistent calorie deficit does that.

I have a genetic mutation that makes girls sterile. Currently 32 weeks pregnant with healthy baby #2. Both times I got pregnant within 6 weeks of trying. Suck it, drs, ya'll got nothin' on me. ;)

It only works as hard as you do. If you add it on top of a calorie deficit and stay consistent, yes, it can help you build a little strength, endurance, and speed up weight loss to some degree.
-
You do not need a "kickstart". You are not a dirtbike. Eat at a consistent deficit and be patient. You'll get there.
