Noticed that people treat me differently depending on my weight. It goes both way though- when I'm fat skinny people are mean to me, when I'm skinny, fat people treat me like I'm a bimbo. I've been on both sides and they equally hurt. No matter your weight, all you can do it be confident and make sure people know that you…

Mine have gotten smaller even when I didn't think I had a lot of fat on them. They will shrink very slowly so don't give up hope if it doesn't happen right away.

I have an elliptical at home, after a week of using it my knees started hurting because I didn't have any way to switch up my exercise, the stride is too short.. and it gets really boring. They are expensive to move if you sell your house or leaving an apartment, I had to pay $400 for a moving company to come out and move…

Yup. Took me forever to get this through my head- after a lot of trial and error. The longer you practice this, the easier it is to tell when you really want a treat or if you are just being greedy. I really like Coca Cola, there is always a case in my fridge because my bf likes it too, but now I enjoy it more as treat…

Bring a tennis ball, find a park, and play catch. Chase him around a little! Will break up the long walk and tennis balls weigh nothing so it not a huge inconvenience to bring one with you.

Doom was one of the first video games I ever played- I was obsessed! Used to play that and a game called Hover https://youtube.com/watch?v=fH3hD62a0qM

Thanks! These are actually the stretches I do but never thought to put them in a smooth order like that. I'll try it tomorrow morning :) *yoga newbie*

I like when my jeans fit perfect...yup, that's my secret motivation :)

I switched from very physical job, where I was consistency moving for 12 hours a day, to a working a desk job. The transition was hard on my body since now I have to sit all day. My upper back and neck always hurts no matter how I sit in my desk chair. I use a foam roller on my back when I get home and it really helps!…

I log everything I eat even if I don't think I am going to be under for that day. Gives me a good perspective of how much I will gain if I continue to eat like that every day. That usually helps me get back on track. When I stop logging my food is when I start slipping into the same problem you have.

I really like the brand Hint. It's flavored water like Vitamin Water, tastes much better, with no calories, no sugar/artificial, nothing. The watermelon one tastes like you took a slice of fresh watermelon and dropped it right into the bottle! This is their website: https://drinkhint.com

I've never eaten lobster before, the smell completely turns me off. I used to work in a restaurant and hated bringing the dirty lobster plates to the backroom- the smell would be all over my hands and make my nauseous. BTW I'm not a picky eater at all so this surprises me as much as it does my family when they try to make…

Make sure to weigh all your fruit! When I first started logging on MFP I was eating a lot of fruit and not entering it correctly- the calories add up quick and was stalling my loss.

You're welcome!

This does sound really go and I will probably make it! Put your serving in a bowl and cover with a damp paper towel when reheating in the microwave. Make sure the towel is tightly tucked under the bowl to keep the steam inside. Rice needs the steam to plump back up :)

Wow DJ, you look GREAT!! Congrats on your loss :)

WW doesn't teach you how to count calories, you pay them to do it for you. Not a good plan for long term maintenance. My Fitness Pal app does have a lot of bugs in it, like WW app, but to know exactly how to count calories on a deeper understanding is why I will always stick with MFP. Plus it's free! Even if the site shuts…

Discipline, not motivation. I have neither right now but I did at one time :)

I thought the story about the dog drinking too much salt water a couple days was the best post but you have all gone beyond my exceptions with these stories! :D

I don't eat "clean" but I try to make homemade meals as much as possible because it is easier to control my portions/calories. I also try to sub anything with a lot of calories with something veggie based like instead of eating two portions of rice to fill me up I mix one serving with frozen veggies to add bulk. As the…

The everyday struggle of balancing my calorie limit. Sometimes I have good days, sometimes bad days. You can see a pattern of weight loss over time but trying to stay positive on the bad days and getting back on track is the hardest.

Thanks! My roommates and I love cheesecake- I've been looking for low cal version. Maybe they won't notice the difference ;)

Nope, I match entries with a couple sources and keep everything organized for the future so I know exactly what I am entering into my diary.

Toast, bed of spinach, mushed avocado, slice of tomato on top and seasonings of your choice.

I can understand your frustration! When I have to eat meals that are over my calories and I'm still hungry I get kind of crabby too. No way I could eat some chicken nuggets/fries and be satisfied all night. For the future, frozen veggies are very very cheap, most are $1-$1.50 per bag. I stock up on them and use them every…

I add mushrooms to mine, they are so low calorie and add great flavor (if mushrooms are your thing)- Add Swiss cheese if I have it on hand. Swiss and mushroom go well together.

I made this last night and it was so good! Mushroom Pot Pie realsimple.com/food-recipes/browse-all-recipes/mushroom-potpie. My boyfriend wanted meat in it so I added a pound of ground pork- I imagine it will taste great just how it is on the website. I bought the extra thick filo dough in the freezer section and it came…

Great idea! :) You get exercise and help a furry friend- win, win.
