  • Same here, slightly bow-legged ex ballet kid. My knees don't touch when I stand feet together so my thighs don't touch until they get to the top. Just don't stand with your feet together and no one will notice whether or not there's a gap.
  • I have a polar f6 that I bought years ago on new ebay for around $60 I think. It does have a pink watch but I don't think it matters if you get a men's or women's HRM bc you program it with your stats: height, weight, age, gender etc. Mine has a chest strap, and that's my preference as I've never used one w/o a chest strap.

  • I'm a SAHM these days but when I was working some of the women in my office would bring their walking shoes and walk at lunch. I don't know what the weather's like where you are but if it's not too cold right now, you can maybe get some other peeps together for some walking at lunch.
  • Glad I came across this post. I was a water drinking fiend but haven't been drinking as much bc I just get super busy chasing my twins around but after reading this, and refilling my nalgene bottle, I'm drinking my water again.
  • I can only practice on a completely empty stomach. I even wait until the class is over for water I just can't do planks, inversions etc with anything in my stomach w/o feeling like I'm going to barf.

  • I get a 3 mile run in before I work out with a trainer for 45 min. I just finished my last training sesh so going forward, I'd like to do the exercises I was doing w Tracie on my own and run my *kitten* off of course. ;)

  • I second the nalgene bottle they're BPA free and come in large mouth and small mouth types. I like the large mouth bottle bc I think it's easier to clean.

  • Do you have a HRM? I'd wear one for hot yoga and found out I was torching close to 500 calories in a 90 minute class. Find out what your burn is and just enter it as your own exercise.
  • I could have written this post, except I haven't enjoyed any significant loss at all, but it sounds like we should be eating more. So lets give it a try and see if we see any change...if not I like wantsasmallbum's idea and just get a new scale.
  • You may need new shoes. If I'm starting to feel pain in my legs/ankles/hips nine times out of ten it's bc I've wore out my shoes. If it's not the shoes maybe you need to cross train.
