I definitely can see why people are angry and hurt by such a message, but I lawled. I lawled because while this is a fudged up message to a young and impressionable age group (doesn't matter what culture, any country has people who say things like this or parade around with an a$$hat firmly attached to their heads), I see…

You're likely not netting enough calories. A lot of posts here suggest to lower the amount of pounds you want to lose in a week when you're not so heavy. Also, depending on the study or the different opinions of members on the board, you've probably hit starvation mode if you're consistently under 1200. Up the calories and…

Go partner! Whoop that scale. :D Embarrassing story comes later for her.

*taps against the fish bowl* A...nerd? Just messin'. I'm actually a Marvel nerd myself, my boyfriend is the MMORPG type. We also play Magic: The Gathering. Feel free to add me.

I'm an emotional eater in the sense that I stop eating once I've hit my stress limit, and won't touch any food (coffee and energy drinks, my favorite energy drink being 0 calories) until I feel better/less stressed. But then I feel like I'm starved, and eat utter crap. I know it's one of my worst habits that I always keep…

Carne Asada Tacos. I get the meat from the meat dept at my grocery store then BBQ it up! It's amazing, and since I'm making it myself I get less of the dried taste we get from Taco Shops. Some Pico, or homemade guacamole and it's better than most places I would go to with less calories. But anything I really want to eat,…

:( I thought this was gonna be a thread about cylons. *trudges off*

I'M A RENEGADE. *swoops* I want to pick your brains, ladies, in the non-zombie way. This isn't the question of the day or anything, but I'm the curious type. How important is good music in your workout? Do you have to have the perfect playlist or are you able to jive with the radio? That's right, I said jive. Danny Zuko…

Being awesome. *really don't have a good answer because I haven't run across the dreaded plateau yet....*

A lot of things have become staples in my home now, but I think the top two are string cheese and chicken breast. The string cheese is my go to snack because it's about the only cheese I'll actually eat, and it's the lowest in sugar while still keeping me full in between meals. I also love greek yogurt with strawberries,…

I'm down 2.4 from last week. 212 current. :D

Second place on my team! *does jig* grawr Emily, I'm onto you now. :P gotta up my game. First place shall be MINE.

I take it as a time to steady myself. I'm always bloated and such so if I come out of my weight in without loss or gain I take that as a win, especially when it coincides with my payday. (No chocolate *hiss*)

Yeah, I was up 'til 2 am after that... didn't realize I posted twice... oh Jim Beam.

First ever DRUNK POST! Yeah!

First ever DRUNK POST! Yeah!

The weekend is my time to cut a little loose. So when I want a bit more of something, or something junky, we all go out and get some exercise by playing some sports, or walking around. Just something to boost the calories I can have, and when it's something really junky, we share it. I'm all about making my own rendition…

My kitchen, my measuring cups, but most of all... my SPORTS BRA. Back in the day, when I was a youngin', I was participating in soccer and a summer swim program. I would ride my bike home from the pool, and one day I forgot a bra. I HATED LIFE. My bust, though loved by my boyfriend, is my mortal enemy. So when I want to…

I wouldn't say that any one thing struck my mind and told me, "this is the day, the moment, the time I shall make my stand." It will not make for a hallmark movie. I always knew in the back of my head I needed to lose weight, and eat right and move my lard-a**. But I didn't take initiative. Going over 200 having my…

I like competitive sports more than anything, like soccer and basketball. When I was in high school I was on the swim team as well. :D

@ Question of the Day: I've been working at being more active. While I do have Turbo Jam, I also go to the park once a week and play sports with my boyfriend and his friends.

The Sign-Ups for round 2 have already been finished from what I understand.

I went back down to 216 from the Wednesday weigh in. I would just call it maintenance.
-
@ Kayla: The group is full.

Ah, poop. Fun fact: Pink is my least favorite color. Oh well, weight loss is more important.

I can guarantee mine isn't accurate, as I just finished my workout, but I'm 217.2. I would suggest picking a once a week check due to fluctuation, and I'm guessing most of us will see a rise in weight because our bodies aren't used to our workouts. Just saying.

Mine is in need of updating too, but I'll give you one song I love: "Shut Me Up" by Mindless Self Indulgence.

I'm down. Call me Chase, my goal weight in the 7 weeks is 196. I weigh 216 now. ETA: I would like to get out of the two hundreds, I've been here too long. This would be a fun kick in the pants.

Since I'm doing Turbo Jam, mine is under kickboxing. But I'm not sure... you can research on other sites and figure out an average or something, or if you have a HRM...

My suggestion? A multivitamin. Any diet pills and such are not so good. I tried hydroxycut once during a false start in being fit, and it might as well have been a shot of adrenaline for me that amounted to amazing bouts of insomnia.
