  • I'm 5'1/2" but my ultimate goal is somewhere around 140..I've been thick all my life till now - still considered "thick" for my height but considering I used to be almost 240 this is small for me!
  • I'm 5'1/2" but i've never been a small girl...I'm@160 now (was 150 last yr before baby) but would love to be around 140. :)
  • Congrats on your little one!!! I had an awesome labor/vag delivery and was cleared to workout by 5 weeks. Every doctor is different so no matter when you're cleared just be sure to listen to your body :)
  • Welcome!! My son is 13 weeks and I have 6 lbs of baby weight left (gained 39) and 12 to my next goal! :)
  • Hey ! I was diagnosed with PCOS 6 years ago and struggled with my weight up till almost 2 years ago when I joined this site!! Good luck on your journey and feel free to add me :)
  • Up until two years ago I chose my love for food over loving myself and the way I look! I still love junk but in moderation. Nutella, especially Nutella!
  • Got my NoseFrida in the mail the other day and love it!!!! Just thought I'd update, thanks again ladies A++ :)
  • Welcome! As others have said, this group is filled with lots of awesome and supportive mommies!!!! I have a little man who will be 3 months next week :)
  • Hey there! Welcome to the site and congrats on your LO! I was able to lose 86 lbs right before getting pregnant with my son who is almost 3 months and with him I gained 39 lbs and I've got 6 lbs of baby weight to go and 12 lbs to my lowest weight. It's definitely not easy with a little one, you gotta do what you can! Good…
  • Teeheehee my hubs is the same way! I use one maybe two depending on the amount and he can go through 4-5 easy LOL
  • Laura and Kiley, that's great y'all haven't needed one! I think Jax needs it so much because the weather here is so bipolar!! It messes with everyone's sinuses/allergies
  • Ahhh! Thanks y'all! You talked me into it, I ordered us one :)
  • What J3nny said, I bought an Infantino baby carrier from a resale shop and was given a sling and had NO idea how to use either one so I YouTubed them both :)
  • Thanks so much for all your replies... I'm buying it :)
  • OH awesome! I think I will order it, we have to use the saline drops and clean Jax's nose out basically every morning!
  • Right!?
  • Congrats!!! That's fantastic you only gained what your son weighed! I gained 39 lbs with my son, I'm about 12 weeks PP and have 6lbs f baby weight to go. I think everything fits differently for everyone after having a baby, you just gotta work hard and after time you'll see results! :) good luck and feel free to add me!
  • I'm assuming you'll have to cancel the subscription and re subscribe to the next size up. I haven't checked it all out yet :)
  • Ah Laura that's a bummer! Liz, totally agree :)
  • I wasn't big on it at first but I've found one I absolutely LOVE.. the Dannon Oikos black cherry, the flavor is so strong and it pretty much eliminates the tart taste of the yogurt, that and the strawberry are the only ones I eat. For me, It's a great snack because I'm not a big meat eater and they're packed with protein :)
  • I also have PCOS and in a years time I lost 86 lbs by eating 1200 calories per day and exercising 30 min/day..I had a baby 2.5 months ago and I've got 13 lbs to go to get the rest of my baby weight off. I may try the low carb thing but you just gotta find what works and stick with it till you plateau then change it up…
  • I gained 45, technically 39 because (I lost 6 after becoming pregnant) and lost 25 within the first 2 1/2 weeks. I'm 11 weeks PP and have lost another 7 at this point and have 7 left to go, 13 till my lowest weight after becoming pregnant :)
  • I'm with Pepper! I had 2 batches made and in my freezer before Jax got here and took some to the hospital..I had a pretty great supply for the 5 weeks I breastfed (except when I had mastitis - fever made my supply drop) but was able to pump enough on the side that lasted till Jax was 8 weeks. Either way they're worth it…
  • You can get whatever diapers you prefer! I was just using Luvs as an example because that's what we use :) Lisa, that's hilarious! I wish I would've signed up a long time ago, I'd have saved a bunch of dough! Lol
  • Pampers for us were just okay, and Huggies sucked for us, they didn't ever hold in Jax's poopsplosions! We've been using Luvs for over a month now and like them really well and they're reasonably priced. We get them at Sam's or Babies R Us (as well as formula - just whichever is having the best deal at the time) but Babies…
  • We may end up going with the proper name. A friend brought up a good point.. calling it "pee pee" might confuse them when potty training because you ask them if they need to go pee pee they may think you're talking about their parts and not asking if they need to go to the bathroom. IDK, good thing there's still time to…
  • Thank you all for your advice!!! It's only been going on for less than a week but I'm glad we figured out what's going on with him! I have baby orajel and teething tablets on hand if he gets bad enough to need them and will possibly order the necklace as well. Jenny - glad this thread put you at ease! I thought 2 months…
  • WOW! Kudos to you!! You must be super mom LOL If the weather is nice you could strap them into a stroller and go for walks? Sorry I don't really have any advice, I just wanted to comment and tell you how awesome you are! I'm a SAHM and have a 2 1/2 month old, sometimes It's hard for me to find the time to exercise, lol. I…
  • Welcome!! I've been on mfp for almost 2 years and I just had my son not quite 2 1/2 months ago :) this site and these ladies really are awesome!! feel free to add me!
  • Jax wont take a pacifier anymore unless it's bedtime! He has made that quite clear. That's definitely a good thing! I've tried a couple teething toys and he wont do anything with them, he just chews on his hands. As far as the teething tablets go, I don't think it's bad enough to give them to him yet but I have them on…
