Please read the rest of the comments in this thread. The OP's information is 100% BS.

You turn ice cream into awesome. Well, ice cream is awesome already. I mean you turn it into being awesome. I mean... You know what? Nevermind. Uh, well done.
-
I'm lost on how you turn "resistant starches were only half the calories" (which is not quite true, and not something I ever said) into "hot boiled potatoes will magically halve in calorific value when it cools down."
-
Please don't tell lies about me. Thanks.

So you're full of broscience, sell Herbalife, and claim your body fat % is about half of what it actually is. And you have clients. Those poor people.
-
Tennisdude's favorite new theory is that you can go over maintenance on calories all the time and not gain weight. The reasoning in the past has been this is because of resistance starches, where all of the calories eaten don't actually get digested and absorbed. It's kind of amusing. He seems to enjoy learning some new…

Oh Dr Hyman. He of the complete line of "sugar is evil" diet books lining the shelves of your local Barnes & Noble. He's found his angle and he's hitting it hard. Gotta sell those books.
-
Yup, look at them. So.... what about them?
-
Katie Couric? Has she turned into some nutrition expert or something now? I think the whole thing is stupid. Sugar is yummy. And I'll expand on Lynx's 10 day "eat all the sugar and get fit" challenge by extending it to the rest of my life. Any kind of "10 day challenge" is stupid to begin with, and doubly stupid when it's…

That's not how chemistry works. The veggie juices like V8 are actually pretty solid.

Wait..... wait. Chocolate croissant?

Dang. This thread has PMs and wall posts for a reason! You disappoint me.

I have the latest version, yes. It's listed as version 3.1. It's possible it's built into the latest version and is turned on for certain users as a beta test or something. I know of other apps that do something similar.

Missed him? Did he ragequit?

TI-89. Wait, sorry.

You one cynical SOB.

I created a new user account and added dozens of eggs and candy bars to the diary. Haven't been able to replicate this functionality. It must have rolled out only to a select few users.
-
The thing that bothers me most about this is the influx of people we'll have into the forums terrified by the pointless nagging warnings the app is giving. We'll have 24 year old, normal-weight, active people in the forums trying to lose 10 lbs freaking out because MFP is yelling at them for eating a Power Bar that has too…

Yes, assuming you log accurately and your calorie goal is appropriate (seems that it is). Controlling calorie intake is crucial. Exercise is important. Don't tie them together. A lot of people fall off the logging when they skip a workout or two. Don't do that. Continue to hit the calorie goal every day no matter what.
-
When you're not logging, chances are you're eating much more than you think you are. Logging is critical.
-
One or two days of eating well isn't going to do much. I'm not sure what you were expecing. This takes a long time. Hit your calorie goal every day, not a few days a month
-
Oh. Well, that's where you're going on. Consistency and compliance are king.
-
It's strange that some people are getting this and others aren't. Maybe it's just new/inconsistent users?
-
No idea what you're asking me about. "Wow" was a response to a post, not some sort of sweeping personal judgment of you.
-
Open your diary if you want useful help.
-
Wow.
-
How did you determine that? Also, why is your diary not open?
