Bulk meal prep of muffin tin ham/spinach/mushroom quiches with basmati rice. I portioned everything into 12 containers, which averaged out to 325 calories per meal (though that count is not perfect per container).

I've noticed that, too! Those indoor playgrounds are a recipe for illness for us.

Kudos for counting with such accuracy.

Are you ladies adding 500 to your TDEE or is the 500 from ebf being treated as the deficit, such that you're eating at your TDEE? (So if your TDEE is 2000, are you eating 2000 or 2500?)

I hear you! I don't like exercising in front of family, either. If you can think of a way to make enough space somewhere and offer to do the organizing and work of moving/re-arranging things, perhaps your family would approve of that. What about walking? You can walk outside, in malls, at free community centers, sometimes…

@HappyCampr1 - That's a good point! I think it might help my brain get used to that long term maintenance number, too, if that makes any sense. Sort of a reminder of the big picture and the fact that in order to maintain my loss, I'll never be able to go back to how I used to eat. I think I'll try it out and see how it…

Setting your goal to maintenance and eating 250-500 below is a very interesting idea! I had never thought of that, so thanks for passing that concept along. I don't know whether that would mess with my head too much, but the beauty of MFP is that I can always try that and then go back to the traditional way if it doesn't…

Check out the OXO digital food scale with pull-out display. This scale allows me to weigh large platters, cutting boards, sheet pans, etc. I love it, my only complaint is that when you touch the button to light the display, the light turns off automatically too quickly for my preference, I wish it would stay on longer. Not…

Highest non-pregnant weight for me!

You've done such an amazing job! Thank you for sharing your story, it's very encouraging.

I hear that! I asked for my cholesterol to be checked once as part of a physical - I guess I was too young to have insurance pay for it because I just about fainted when I saw my bill! Something so simple should not cost so much, no matter who is paying the bill.

What confuses me is the fact that scales such as the Tanita brand, which uses the same concept to measure body fat (an electrical signal), supposedly ARE accurate and are used in professional settings. I do love my Aria, but I'm skeptical of the body fat percentage accuracy. I had a handheld Omron body composition analyzer…

I saw it on Shark Tank. My only thought was that I wish I could think of something to make out of plastic and rake in the bucks. $$$$

Pretty much the only reason I take a multivitamin is to make sure I'm getting folic acid in case we decide to have another baby. I can't say it makes me feel any different, OP.

For me, it's air popped popcorn or a 50 calorie cheese stick.

Very inspiring, great work!

Thank you, I will try that!
