First off, welcome! Why don't you try swimming? I always find it refreshing rather than exhausting. Finding a zumba class is a great idea as well. I get a lot of exercise from walking my dogs (we walk for at least 2 hours a day) so you could always try to gradually increase that also. Best of luck to you! :)

Welcome! you will find lots of support on MFP :) Good luck on your journey and congratulations on your engagement!

I'd love to get in on this. I have a hectic week happening right now but the rest of the month should be much easier to squeeze in riding time. :)

I like to write lists of questions to ask the next time I talk to a person, ie a friend of mine just had emergency surgery and I was so shocked and worried I could barely form words when she let me know. I have a little list of things I want to know when I speak to her next (recovery time? what can I do to help? will she…

At least you know those "brain directly to mouth" people are telling you the truth! Even if that was a bit forward of her that is still a nice compliment for you :)

Great idea happy_vegan, I will look into B12 :) I've actually been thinking when life slows down I would try out a vegan diet. Thanks for the recipe domestica - sounds tasty!

First off: You can do it!!!! I'm working hard on carving out a healthy and more positive life for myself (ie I don't drink anymore and prefer to spend time with more positive people). People are so funny! It's as if they want to give me permission to back out of my goals. My boyfriend is the first person to encourage junk…

I had a lot of success with pilates, especially with a resistance band. Good luck!

I wouldn't call it cheating per se, but it's innappropriate behaviour. You deserve her full attention!

You look so great! Truly inspirational! :) I am a runner also, just broke two of my toes unfortunately so I have to put off my first 5k until June.

You can do it! MFP is a great site. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help out :)

You can do it!!!! I am a junk food addict myself. I love MFP because it doesn't tell me that I can't have anything, but with a calorie limit I can see that I can't have 3 cokes a day - so I've had to cut down to one (I work nights so this was huge for me!) Anyway, good luck with your goal :)

You can do it! Have lots of healthy food handy and don't skip meals so your body is starving at any point (this is when overindulgences happen). I'm not a nutrition expert but this has always been a key for me, when I get hungry and I'm at work or out of the house I will and do eat anything! So I always have a granola bar…

I'm not a vegan, I have been a vegetarian for a few years (sort of, still ate fish until recently ...so a pescatarian I think is the name for that). Thanks for the great tip, I'm pretty nervous about the run and I only have a month to train so it will be interesting!

I'm not an expert but your body might take some time to adjust, right now you might be flushing out all your toxins. I take an apple cider vinegar supplement with meals (and lots of water) and it's really helped my digestion and cleaned up my skin. Apple cider vinegar is supposed to help with both digestion and skin…
