Huh. I apparently have not actually lost my weight then? I don't believe it at all. But everyone is different!

I know my goal won't ever be good enough. In fact, now I've just accepted it, and decided to be happy and eat some total crap every once and a while, because even though I'm pretty close to goal (and about the same as you), I'm still picking everything apart in the mirror.

I know that The Feminist Breeder blogger rants and raves about the Diva Cup. I think she's even given them away on her blog a couple times. I have friends that use them and love them. I have Mirena and was one of the 20% that doesn't get periods with it in, but once I go back to periods I'm definitely picking up some sort…

I only know what worked for me: I don't eat clean. I ate around 1,500 calories a day (now I eat a little more) I did 30 Day Shred for a month, then Ripped for a month and never lost a pound. But in those two months I lost over 6 inches on my waist alone. Take measurements, or you will get discouraged. Plan on getting…

I recommend going to the store and trying on a bunch of stuff that you never would normally try on. You may shock yourself.... and for me, the surprise in how I looked was all I needed to decrease the insecurity a bit. (It's certainly not gone completely though!)
-
I started with 30DS, then after the month moved into Ripped. I would agree that Ripped is a bit more difficult, but it BURNS SO GOOD!
-
How many years before they stop???? Please tell me soon!
-
I did 30 Day Shred and Ripped in 30. Two months of my life, not a pound lost. But I lost six inches off my waist. Not long after I finished Ripped things kind of shifting, and I started actually dropping pounds. Inches are good - those are pants sizes! Be thrilled! It will shift eventually - you can only lose so many…

I was primarily a clarinetist - and I did things like All State Band and Orchestra, and performed with the Minnesota Orchestra, too! I also would fill in as needed on flute, saxophone, percussion, and keyboards/piano. I never was good at brass - I could do the basics and teach lessons, but couldn't just bust out a…

I don't remember a number of dates. Maybe he does. It was probably three to five. Of course that was like 9 years ago.

I think it's something where many people are never completely happy. I'm 148 now, and I'm overall pumped, although I'm not crazy about mommy tummy. But I figure either persistence and time will work in my favor, or I'll deal. I'm happy with things overall, and that's what matters!

Cabbage. Wrap in bacon. Grill. NUM.

Oh jeez. Thanks a lot for mentioning MySpace. So I had to come back with evidence. My Britney Spears impression. This had to be senior year or so. Band camp. Told ya! Junior year? I was such a dork..... This was actually a year after I graduated. But this picture is one I think of when I think about "high school skinny".…

Eyebrow not raised. I feel this same exact way about weddings a lot. When they get really demanding, are asking for really expensive stuff, or are getting really elaborate I can't help but think exactly what you said.
-
In my opinion. That's what it means.... I'm not going to offer my opinion about what it means. Although I guess that is my opinion. IMO, it means "in my opinion".

Band geek. Went to band camp. Performed with the Minnesota Orchestra. And didn't give a rip about anything else. I did experience first hand, though, that if you are amazing in something arts related, you WILL get special treatment - just like really good athletes do. Colleges were chasing me down despite my crappy GPA, I…

Post its. Keys. (Sometimes I need to get into a house and having a load of different keys increases the odds that I will get lucky and open the door. Also, now I sound like a burgler.) Pop can tabs. I drop them off at the school periodically. Sharpie pens of all varieties.

She recommends on the DVD each level for 10 days. But do what works for you. I've seen lots of people skip days of level 2 because they "didn't like it", too. I just did 10 days of each, no days off. And I had good results!

More proof I'm a freak. I'm not into the whole bridal shower/baby shower thing, either....
-
I've heard of it. I think it's obnoxious. "Ohhhh, hey, look at me open up these gifts where people spent money on me! Yay!" I don't get it. Of course, I'm a "weird" woman. The whole wedding ceremony in general seems selfish and elaborate to me. If I was your friend, I would totally understand and would encourage you to…

I did 1,200. I was crabby. I didn't lose a pound. And I didn't seem to get stronger. (I wasn't doing hardcore lifting, though.) Increased to 1,475 - much better. Started losing weight, and seemed to make better strength gains. Now I'm at 1,600 calories - but I'm not really looking to drop a lot of weight, just slowly shift…

Bobby has a very valid point. My husband and I started together, then realized that we completely and totally disagreed on the way to do things. We went our "separate" ways in the weight loss venture, and I'd say now we are kind of coming back to the same path. Different routes, similar end goals. I mean, not quite - he…

Totally getting stalked by a recruiter from a different company. In fact, hello recruiter.... because I wouldn't put it past you to be stalking me here. Thanks for the stalking, but I'm blissfully happy where I am right now. You can stop asking.

I don't have a single, but I have the Baby Trend double, too, and I've been really happy with it overall. I might get rid of it though.... my son is a GIANT three year old - (wears size seven in boy's clothes), and we bought a wagon this summer.... I might just use that for the fairs, etc. I don't run, and we have the bike…

I didn't want people to make assumptions on how I look only to be severely disappointed when they did finally see a picture of me.

I used to feel that way. Then I found some super awesome friends. And I really try to spread the love around. I think looking for similar interests helps with the interaction for sure. I also am a total diary stalker, though. I love reading about the other goodies everyone is eating!

I have one girl and one boy. Everyone assumes that I should be done now, because I have it "perfectly balanced". The problem is that I totally love pregnancy. Yes, I am aware that I am apparently a rare kind of freak. But I really would like to do it all one more time... I was doing some research on surrogacy recently,…

I am a mom to a two and three (almost four!) year old. I am self-employed as a "contracting" employee, and work all day every day. Literally. I struggle to find the time to work out a lot! I can totally relate!

Straight up, the MFP system nearly made me give up completely. I figured out my BMR. Figured out my TDEE. Use it as a range. Happy as a clam. In fact, now I'm just set to lose like half a pound a week, and I don't even care if I do because I'm so close to goal. I would figure out your TDEE and manually set the numbers that…

Oh my goodness, I'm in love!
