WOW, I knew they were allowed to be off, but by 20-frickin-percent?!?!? :noway:

Congrats, that's pretty freakin' awesome!

The OTC ones are typically bunk, and the prescription ones have side-affects and are usually only recommended for the very overweight.

Just north of you, in lovely, (and frickin' cold,) Indianapolis :glasses:

Went from 303, down to 199 (YAY!!!) Celebrated by eating, got back up to 245 (BOOOOO!!!!) Back at it now, down to 224 (YAY, I think?)

Just jump right back on where you left off. One day is a very MINOR setback - it won't break you.

Depression sucks, but it does get better. I was on SSRIs for a couple of years, and they helped out, more than words can say. They're not really "happy pills" per se, they just seem to turn down your 'give a damn' to a more manageable level. Just take it easy, give yourself some time, and you WILL get through this!
-
If it helps you stick with it long term, go for it!

RAWR, NO IT'S NOT!!!! It's the symantics of how we're saying it!!!

Halfway got me a skydive - goal weight gets me a series of skydives

I don't really have anything to add - I was just happy to see "nom nom nom" used in a post.
-
Wow, you're looking fan-freakin'-tastic!!!
-
You can do it! The hardest step was the first one - now, you just have to keep going
-
You can do it!!!

-14 yesterday, but It's actually gonna be up to 9 today - time to break out the speedo!!!
-
I can't say that I ran it - was more of a jog/walk/crawl/etc. Either way, I shaved 36 minutes off of last years time, so I'll take it :)
-
Been working out at home here - it's slow going, but it seems to be paying off.
-
I wish I had some advice, but I've got nothing - just wanted to say congrats on the loss!!!
-
This is gonna sound like odd advice, but have fun! Once you get passed the drills being in your face, basic can be a blast.

His loss, not yours :flowerforyou:

Mine's not overtly unsupportive, but she doesn't seem to be really happy for me either. It gets to be kind of deflating after a while.
-
All you can do is keep at it - but whatever you do, don't ever give up on yourself!
-
But, but, but.... my mommy says I'm special. Did you just call my mommy a liar?!?!?
-
Give yourself time, it's worth it in the end!

I've done, and still do this - it's a great way to set mini-goals, as well as long-term ones. I've had a few times that I waited too long, and ended up not wearing an item before it got too big on me. I just pick up my items at Goodwill, so if it ends up not being worn in time, I just re-donate it.

>.> <.< Is there room for a new person in this thread? I don't still have 100 to lose, but I started at 127.8 to go - Getting close, but it's starting to sloooooooooow down.

My hands - I had to replace my original wedding band because it was sliding off, (and you can't resize titanium.) I'm now wearing it on the middle finger of my other hand.

My pic was one of my rewards - worth every burger I skipped to get there!!!

/brofist Great post. I can't even begin to say how much working with a professional helped me as well. I'm not sure if some people view getting professional mental help as a weakness, but I think it's the exact opposite. To know that there's a problem and doing something about it shows strength.
