google for exercises you can do during your drive. Obviously they will be limited ... but I work my tummy while I'm driving. It's better than letting it lay there doing nothing and nobody can see if they pull up along side me. After all ... don't want to look weird! ha

But not the kind you do by yourself. You need a a good "exercise" partner for that.

Or do they provide a trainer that can help you figure out the right exercise? otherwise, ya either see if you can get out of the contract or adjust the work out. If whatever you're doing makes your knees hurt then clearly you won't use it. :( But there will be other things you can do.

But why do you regret it? Not using it? Not meeting anyone? Don't like it?

Probably the vast majority of New Year's resolutioners come end of february or march. :) I only "think" about buing a membership but have not as of yet since I have wonderful exercise machines in my basement feeling lonely as it is.

wooo way to tough love! :smile: I hate crunches and stuff and my belly gets in the way. But they do help to build core which will help your belly "appear" smaller once you remove the fat through calorie deficits.

Ditto. Shoes and clothes make a huge difference and also time of day. As everyone else said, doesn't matter now just use the same scale same time of day. it will show the loss accurately.

High sodium will retain water which will show up on your scale. But more importantly, it is not good for your blood pressure.

everything commercially packaged is higher in sodium that you want unless it specifcally says "low sodium:. The package should tell you. I try to stay under 2000 mg of sodium.

Absolutely true. I never believe in the saying "blood is thicker than water". If a relative is toxic there is absolutely no reason to maintain a relationship and all the reason to break it. I did this years ago and changed my life for the better.

mine just arrived today! One thing I noticed is if you have custom meal headings set in MFP it will log in the bodymedia tracker as one big snack. If you leave them set at the default then not. If you care about that, it's a good thing to know. So far so good but i haven't gotten a full day in with it yet. Looking forward…

If you're only goal is to lose weight then ya. I have to admit that's the major point for me too. But I also have to really watch my sodium and cholesterol intake for other health reasons.

I need to work up to high intensity but definitely plan to go that route once i acclimate to exercise again. In the mean time, i don't want to keel over from a heart attack while I am getting started. Hopefully a few weeks will get me ready. I have a great cybex arc trainer at home. They are awesome.

I use plain greek yogurt with my protein powder ... that and unsweetened vanilla almond milk. I use either myoplex or 100% casein vanilla. with fruit I never have to sweeten. I agree about switching from soy. blech

I'm like an alcoholic when it comes to food ... i didn't get fat because i have will power. :) Two things i find tough to turn the spigot to "off" on are noodles and martini's. And the more martini's, the more noodles i want! :blushing:

Ok made this for lunch in the crock pot trimming the salt everywhere I could. Quite yummy and filling ... but I couldn't stop myself with one serving. :( Thankful it's lowcal. I have enough time left in the day to make up for that! :wink:

Before people even enter a relationship they should think ... how will I feel about this person if I never get sex and/or they get (or remain) physically unattractive. Ha ha ... yeah right but true. Agreed shopping sucks - retailers are *kitten*. :P My knees and ankles kill me. :( Activities are tough but I still try to do them for my daughter - tho i feel ridiculous doing it and slow everyone else down.
