I usually take fruit to work, string cheese, and carrots to dip in hummus. You can cut up veg into good dipping sizes, and I use one of those mini jam jars to take a small portion of hummus. You could do with that with whatever dips you like; salsa, hummus, ranch dressing...

I want to be able to zip up my cocktail dress and my orange mini skirt. I want to shift the extra inches that seem to have all gone on my middle and get my 'official' hourglass measurements back. I want a flat stomach. I want to run a 5k and not feel like I might die.

I don't know how old your kids are, but you could approach this as a family, so it doesn't feel so much like you're being punished with a diet? Teaching your kids healthy habits young will help them immensely in later life too. Cook healthy meals together, get them involved in picking colourful fruits and vegetables at the…

Listen to your body. Does that pasta sit like a brick in your stomach and make you want to take a nap? Then yes, it's bad. But if you feel full, but not uncomfortable, and awake, then you're probably fine. Measure a portion carefully, and double check if the calories you think it is is for dry or cooked weight. I've been…

Since we've been together, my boyfriend has lost 2 stone and I've gained one. I'm sure he's sneakily given me one somehow. Before we lived together, we were long distance, so I when he was gone I would comfort eat, and when he was there, it was treat time. Takeaways, drinks, meals out... Since moving in together, we're…

How long are you stretching for afterwards? I'm dreadful for rushing through it, and I always pay for it! Maybe the stretches you're doing aren't targeting the areas you need it most? Maybe have a look on YouTube for some good post-run stretches and try some different ones out and see if it makes any difference.

Take a glass of water to bed with you in case you wake up with that horrible cotton wool mouth in the night, or if you feel so awful in the morning that staggering to the kitchen for water…

Hello! New to MFP and new to crochet too. I've just started to teach myself to crochet, and I'm loving it so far. I'm 23, and from the UK. I'm a blogger, a big reader and a lover of shoes!

I live in Coventry, so only 20 minutes away, and I work in Birmingham :)

I had one of those moments today. I was having a wardrobe clear-out and tried on a old favourite dress I haven't had a chance to wear for a while. Couldn't zip it up. That was a depressing moment.

I second the suggestion for Fitness Blender. SO many videos there. Otherwise, I like Davina McCall's DVDs and find lots of good workouts in the Fitness section of PopSugar's website. I like Blogilates on YouTube too.
