  • I agree that you should give LB another chance. They have their moments. Sometimes I hate em, sometimes I don't. It just depends on when I get to the store - as in fresh stock for the season or end of season picked over nastiness. I have plenty of LB clothes that aren't floral ugliness. I'm not girly either! They do expect…
  • I haven't read other people's responses, so I apologize if I am repeating. I understand your point. However, there is a reason why grammar and punctuation exist. It assists the reader in being able to understand what is being said. Otherwise, we are forced to guess what terms belong together, for example. I won't spend the…
  • But, something else to consider is not just simply calorie count. Just because something might have fewer calories does not make it healthier. Also, using the lower calories options you listed, they may have more sugar in them as well, which can back fire later to mess with your blood sugar. It's not just about calories,…
  • Don't be upset about it. Something I've learned, I can't force myself to do things that don't work with my body. I tried the "diet" food thing of lots of salad and fresh veggies, it just let me even more hungry. I learned what my body needs - dense hearty foods. Steak, broccoli, asparagus. Salad fills me for about 30mins…
  • Over. I've even switched it at hotels before. haha My cats know not to mess with the tp. Although, only one of them has ever actually been interested in unrolling it.
  • I try to get stuff with as little saucy stuff on it. I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything since I like most of my veggies without extra junk on em, same with steaks or grilled chicken. Other options are to only eat half of the meal and take the rest home for another meal.
  • I would just put em on some corn tortillas with lettuce and sour cream/guac. And thanks, I no longer want what I was going to make for dinner. I totally am salivating for some Mexican!
  • Some brands come prerinsed to remove the saponin. So not all require rinsing. And I agree with using the chicken/veggie stock, it adds a great flavor to it.
  • I get it at Whole Foods, Publix, and Kroger. You just have to find where they have the organic stuff, like a pp said. I've also found it at Publix in the gluten free area.
  • So excited for some fall fruits! Getting pears in a week and then apples will be in soon. I think I might do pearsauce this year instead of sliced pears like I did last year. Anyone do pearsauce? Did you do it just like applesauce?
  • I don't think the divorce rate is really a supporter of your statement. Divorce and marriage, occur often for some weird reasons. Any relationship takes work to maintain. You don't stay even friends with someone by sitting on your duff. Anyway, part of me agrees with you regarding the monogamy thing. I don't think that…
  • This is the best I can share, I don't want to give you false hope or let you down. So, I think your biggest issue is going to be making sure you keep body fat low, especially if you are one who tends to gain in the belly area. Scar tissue doesn't stretch like regular skin, so you *may* be stuck with some awkwardness. Of…
  • My bf and I met via an online dating service. Before we met, we already couldn't stop talking: we'd be online chatting for HOURS. When we had our first date, it was the same, continuous conversation. So I guess the signs were there from the get-go. However, I guess the reality of it is that I decided not to follow my job…
  • I want to say be careful. I'd let your foot heal a bit more before putting it through more stress. Perhaps bike or swim. I'd be afraid of re-injuring my foot.
  • This can be difficult, but once you recognize that what people think doesn't matter, you'll feel so liberated. My mom thinks I'm nuts with trying to eat naturally and all that I've been working on, but I don't care. She can be the fat diabetic who forced herself to go on insulin because she wants a get-rich-quick diet and…
  • Oh em gee! I've done the similar behaviors. Hiding food, sneaking things, pretending to have skipped meals so no one would know of the binge earlier. Omg. I'm so with you! I would go to McDonald's and order enough food for 2 or 3 people, then add a couple drinks so the kids at the window wouldnt think it was all going to…
  • I would be running in circles! One cup gets me going...3 cups and I'm blabberin' like a little kid.
  • Preface, I'm a scientist/biologist, not a dentist. So with what I say, YMMV. Anyway, what I thought the point of the fluoride is to prevent cavities, not to make your teeth not get rubbed away (which the whitening tooth pastes can do depending on what the whitening agent is). Most cities/states add fluoride to the water…
  • I didn't think you were complaining about her lack of inviting you anywhere, just pointing out that she's a one-way street.
  • Meddler. That's so silly. How does she know you all aren't trying to get to know her in a different way to make things better in your workplace? There are ppl I have worked with that I didn't like at work, but outside of work they were cool people. She's just jealous and wants to bring y'all down.
  • Yeah, what's blagging? And I'll echo the "it doesn't matter." The only rule I play by is that I don't go to bed on a full tummy. When I've eaten too late, I can't sleep because my belly is full. So, it usually ends up being about 2 hours before bedtime that I have my last meal.
  • Uhm, I'm surprised that MFP didn't edit this into **** hahaha That just made me giggle a good one.
  • I would say just stand normally. Sucking in would be faking it, as would pushing out your tummy. As for the pants pull out thing, I dunno how useful that really is since it's hard to judge real sizes in images.
  • Hold up...something is going on that I'm not invited to? NO ONE LOVES ME!    :brokenheart:   :brokenheart: :brokenheart: :brokenheart:  Just like on facebook when ppl "defriend" you. sheesh. who cares?
  • And people wonder why the south is a fatter part of the country! "Yep, I eat me vegetables. Got me some mac n cheese, some fried apples, and jell-o. I think I like this doctor's recommendation of more vegetables!" Apparently I've been doing it wrong....
  • Yeah... I think I can relate in a way. I had to go gluten free. Since giving up bread (yes they make gf bread but it isn't as wonderful and amazing as regular wheat/rye bread), I've become even more in love with potatoes. I love potatoes before, but now I'm crazy about em. At least I'm getting potassium, right? :ohwell:
  • Yeah they do! I never heard of Jell-o being one! And I agree, ivyjbres!
  • Here's the pic! I hope I do this right:
