"I have many pet peeves, but I don't understand why someone reading while working out, or someone weighing themself in the evening is anyone's business. Single mother and former nursing student (just graduated). I've read my printed class slides while walking on the treadmill and if I make it to the gym at night, I weigh…

It's been many years since I lifted weights at the gym, which was when I was single. Occasionally I go to do cardio but I do free weights at home now. One thing though, that pissed me off, was getting hit on and stared at. I wasn't there to get hit on, and this guy was harassing me, following me around, telling me he could…

heck yes I do, not sure of the brand but the high waist brief kind and yes ma'am it helps. A lot.

bananas are 100 calories, but they really help. Pickle halves (the big kosher ones) help too, and they are only 10. Really though the water helps. If you are not drinking enough you will know it, because you will be hungry, lol...

If you are working out and craving it, it is because you need some protein. Protein helps repair your muscles. Dig in, in moderation. It's not going to kill you. Once or twice a week should be fine, if you are eating moderate portions. Once a day for red meat is probably too much though.

omgoodness, that is gross. LMAO~

you all look great. Keep up the great work!

I had weighed myself daily the entire week before so I had an idea what I could get away with. The dessert stuff I really only ate if I really wanted it. I'm already logging and exercising today. Yesterday was just a break that I had earned though lots of hard work. The leftover desserts that I didn't really care for are…

I weigh myself everyday, but only count every Monday. People say you aren't supposed to, but for me, when I see a difference, I know I either did something right, something wrong, or just might have been lucky that day. It keeps me focused on what I need to do better or the same the next day.

I feel the same way. It is human nature to judge sometimes, and I don't think you need counseling. If you had voiced your opinion that would be different. You must have had a moment, where you thought, holy ****, when people eat this way and raise a family to eat the same way it has negative consequences. No wonder you…

I would like to join and lose 14 lbs. during that time. I already weigh in on Mondays, so this will work well for me.

You know what? If you want it, eat it. But drink 2 glasses of water first. I guarantee you will not be eating nearly as much. I just did this at a Christmas party I went to last week and will be doing the same at another party tomorrow. Drink a glass of water when the next craving sets in too, before any food goes in your…

Be that as it may, if that were my body I could certainly live with that minor mistake, lol...

I have my profile set to light activity. I do log cleaning, but not shopping. I don't feel bad doing this, because I am pretty sure my calories burned for my weight lifting workouts are well under what they should be, by MFP standards. For example, I did 20 mins of strength training with 5 exercises that targeted at least…

Hello, my name is " Going to master the habit of drinking 8 glasses of water a day and no excuses!"

Me too. We must be twins :). I have a really hard time with clothes, period, but especially pants. I got tired of hating to shop for clothes. My husband wanted me to lose weight too, which is going to work out for me in the end because I want him to lose some weight, which he is already doing, and to build more muscle. It…

That was awesome. Don't worry about what other people think, they don't have a right to judge you to begin with. Keep up the good work! Hope to see more of your posts soon :)

It has happened to me twice. The first time I was severely constipated. I mean severely, no joke. That problem runs in my family and I have inherited it, unfortunately. I actually had to see a doctor for it. I was very, very bloated looking. The lady was very, very apologetic. It was pretty hurtful, but obviously, the fat…

This is interesting to note. Maybe if you keep it at the weight you wanted, and then once you get there, make a completely new goal? Kind of like starting over, but not really. One thing to keep in mind too, is lean muscle burns more calories than fat. It might actually level out once you get to a certain weight if you are…

Thank you for asking! I was going to ask the same thing, but I wasn't brave enough. My husband asked me and he doesn't think I should. I am thinking I might not, because I will beat myself up for it later. I plan on having cinnamon rolls with icing and a mimosa (or two) in the morning and we are making a big fat dinner…

I have been there. Oatmeal didn't jive well with me today. I recommend a Honey Nut Crunch sort of cereal with berries or other fruit on top, to change it up.

150 (I don't count my real highest from when I was pregnant. Thank God it was higher then). Otherwise I would feel even worse about it.

Hello. I know how it is to try and lose baby weight. Good luck and feel free to add me if you like :)
-
Please add me, I am almost the same height, 5,0" currently 146 and going to get to 105. It may sound drastic but that was my weight many years ago and I found that weight to be the best, for me. I have some obstacles to overcome with injuries but I have stopped letting that be an excuse and am now on here every day and…

yep. Pretty much every picture I am in. It is amazing, the difference between what we see with a mirror and a photo.
