Wow, just found this site that calculates your child's caloric needs based on sex, age, height, weight, activity level and obesity risk and found out my 6 year old needs 100 calories more a day than my 10 year old, who normally eats more than I do by probably 400-600 calories/day when my 10 year old should be taking in…

Except substitute "the good old fashioned way... they have a app for that!"

Kashi GoLean Crunch. If I'm feeling frisky I add raisins.

There's these two I fondly refer to as "The SKANKERCISE crew". Given previous posts, it really doesn't need an explanation.

Let's see, I burned 301 calories per my FT7f in 26 min on the treadmill yesterday walking 3.6mph (very brisk) on a 6.0 incline. I changed it to 75 minutes and it gave me 865 calories. My HR is a bit higher than normal also due to Adderal (I'm guessing similar to an increase due to being sick), so your 500+ figure given…

WAaaaAaY more per my FT7 than the MFP database. -But I also take Adderal so my HR is jacked more than the average person.

^ OUCH Well, as soon as I requested that Dell cooperate with the NY Lake Success Police Dept, they game ME the guy's name and physical home address. Pretty nice of them, huh? Turns out the little twerp lives in Garden Grove, CA... thus blowing a hole in my Polar employee theory, unless it's a family member or something…

Are there any others in our group like me who are playing but will probably never win because we're so darn close to GW? Starting Weight= 156 lbs (adjusted, late entry) Week 1= 156 lbs Week 2= 157.8 lbs (ToM) Week 3= 156 lbs Week 4= 155.6 lbs End Of Month Weight= 156 lbs Welcome to my plateau hell. Figured my average net…

I went to my bank and basically they just give you a handout on how to flag yourself as a victim with the credit reporting agencies. They don't do squat to report it, so ID thieves have nothing to deter them from ever doing it again to somebody else. Ok, so instead of being passive and just correcting things on MY end, I…

I just bumped my net up to 1700/day today. I've been plateaued for the past 5 of my 11 total weeks on MFP. I figured my average before the plateau was 1500/day and AFTER the plateau was 1450/day. Obviously, less is not more in my case! I'm going to stick with it this time for 3 weeks before judging and even then if it's…

Just hit 30 this year. Count me in!

I just got a cashier's check that I'll hang onto until somebody from Polar calls back asking for new card info. If they don't, ah well. Somebody had to have checked a "paid" box somewhere on my order when I obviously didn't in order for my HRM to ship. Betcha that person is wondering where their laptop is...
-
Well, I just got off the phone with Polar. They verified my order number and that the $ should have come out the day it shipped, which was June 3rd. Halfway through the phone call I realized that I couldn't give them the original card info because that card got cancelled Friday. They asked when I'd receive the new card and…

^ Well, then I guess I'm screwed because I take Adderal. My waking RHR before dosing is 53. After dosing just sitting around I could be anywhere between 85-110. Yeah, going by someone else's HR formula is DEFINITELY not going to work for me.

It irks the hell out of me when people can't spell or confuse homophones. If they're careless or ignorant with simply how they present themselves online, it leads me to believe that they're the same way with other areas of their lives. God forbid you point it out though, because for some reason they believe that below…

I burn roughly 700-800 calories in an hour of circuit weight training with an HRM every other day. I've considered bumping up from sedentary and stop logging, but I'm far too much of a control-freak.

My stats are below, an 8-9 would be just peachy. (I can't believe all the size 6 responses! That would be like, under 135lb territory for me... ew.)

Stretchmarks just need time hon. I had dark purple tiger stripes after my first, simply reused them for my second, and by my third 9 years later, women in the locker room would stop mid-conversation and demand to know how I didn't have any at full term! I actually have a 38wk preggo pic in my profile and they were so…

I've had three kids and have had a "high weight" of 182 before *independent of pregnancy* between my 2nd & 3rd baby due to medication (I put on 35lbs in a year! ALL the baby weight and then 12lbs!). Because I gained 55lbs with my first, I will ALWAYS have my little sag-bag on my lower abdomen. I used to keep some extra fat…

Oh, as for accessible body fat testing, try this: http://www.healthcentral.com/cholesterol/home-body-fat-test-2774-143.html#accurate I calipered at 19.8% and the measuring-tape home test gave me 22%, so not far off!

Weird... I remember reading a scientific study saying that heavier women actually feel tighter because they store fat behind the walls (like extra stuffing in a pillow) and the increased pressure from the weight of the internal organs... I wish I could find it again. Ah well. Nice to hear the opposite may be true.

You look so damn hot girl!!!

It's perfect for me! All my stats are below and the profile pic is a month old, tops. As for my "frame": wrist 6", underbust 34", size 9 shoe. Oh yeah, highschool weight range was 128-135, pre-bootcamp 142, low bootcamp 131, pre-kids 142, between/after kids 145-155.

I was in the Marine Corps... you'd think that would be 'nuff said. Nope, that was 5 years ago. I took a free self-defense seminar at the local Krav Maga center and it is darn near exactly how they taught us in the Marines. They get you exhausted first, then you fight tooth and nail. It is REACTION based, not preset…

MUST READ: (yes, she did an experiment & research. You need at least an extra 100 calories/day in your luteal phase. Don't know when that starts? Look up Billings method and pay attention to what men lewdly refer to as your "snail trail" aka EWCM or egg white cervical mucus. When that disappears, start working in an extra…

Aren't all the women citing "petite hourglass" technically vases? What's the diff?

My hubby and pretty much any guy I've dated are all long locks lovers. You can still look sassy/empowered/tough with long hair. I tapped my inner Michele Rodriquez for the look in the profile picture. I never have to blowdry unless I'm in a rush. Keeping up the color would take the same amount of effort long or short. I…
