Because everybody is different. That standard (military's, technically the medical community's) has worked for ME personally because I started out 1.) in excellent health 2.) physically active & fit 3.) at healthy BMI and had 4.) zero complications 5.) gained within recommendations 2 of the 3 times 6.) breastfed/pumped…

SMH. In all the anti-military brew-haha the point that the military draws it's 6 month (technically 7.5) regulation to get under a BMI of 25 from the medical community AT LARGE defining anything beyond such as "postpartum weight retention" seems to have gotten lost. Again, I direct everyone's attention to:…

There's "taking care of yourself"/"being dolled up" and there's "overdone"/"high maintenance", which can translate to "intimidating". I bet you are just as, if not MORE beautiful with a little less make-up and a little less going on with the hair. Yes, I'm a chick but I used to work around TONS of guys and was privy to…

^LMAO.

Starting Weight= 156 lbs (adjusted, late entry) Week 1= 156 lbs Week 2= 157.8 lbs (ToM) Week 3= 156 lbs Week 4= 155.6 lbs End Of Month Weight= YAY! I can finally say I contributed 0.4lb to the MILF group total!!! Only took 4 whole weeks, sheesh!

*sigh* MrBrown72 & I were both Marines, I can definitely speak for myself in that my views on postpartum recovery are heavily influenced by their "regulations"; I can only assume that MrBrown72's views are as well. I certainly do not hold other women to those standards. The military wouldn't mandate something though if it…

*just looks in horror at MrBrown72, jaw dropped, hand over mouth, eyes wide*

(lol, I honestly thought nobody caught that but have had a couple PMs asking. I sent you a message and will do the same for anyone else who asks)
-
*low whistle* yeah, see... even I couldn't do that.

Thank you ladyhawk00!! :D We all have VERY different experiences. Regardless, we all have accomplished something wonderful. A few pounds is NOTHING compared to our little one's smiles! Worth...it...every...time.

Yes, ladies please put the torches, pitchforks and spades away. There will be no more talk of crucifying my hubby tonight, lol. I realize my experience borders on freakish; I'm proud of my results but not the way I went about achieving them. Just trying to get a feel of what is more normal and socially accepted. In my…

Ok, this thread is about what it means TO YOU. It's different for everyone. My hubby and I are sitting here snickering (ok, honestly I'm laying on the bed as he's leaning over my shoulder reading while dry humping my leg distractingly) at the responses saying he's mean or childish for giving a deadline. It really wasn't a…

I'd say so! Hehe. My babies weights were 7lbs 9oz, 6lbs 13oz and 6lbs 7oz. All between 19"-21". High altitude pregnancies result in slightly smaller babies and larger placentas due to O2 (here in Denver) which explains my youngest. Oh, all three were V-birth; I totally get C-section mommies get extra time.

The second two have posterior WHRs of .66 (yes, I just measured - I'm that much of a geek). First pic is obviously not at the right angle. My frontal WHR in my profile pic is .66, as is a pic I found of SI model Marisa Miller :D

The powers that be in the health community do a disservice by recommending so much weight gain during pregnancy. The current guidelines are fine if you are starting off at a healthy BMI and know for a fact you plan on nursing or pumping exclusively for the first six months (and there is no way to predict which women can…

I'm guessing she threw out the "quit having babies" thing because either she wants to have more, but can't for either financial/health reasons or has recently suffered a miscarriage. Really, only women who go through such things would even think to say such things. (I'd be evil and harp on it though, she basically gave you…

Holy crap, we have the same handbook! Lol

Former Marine suits just fine Teufel Fetus ;) The only people who should feel antsy about referring to themselves as such either got a DD, BCD or OTH. You'll seriously raise red flags and skepticism about your service by using the term "ex Marine" ANYWHERE you go, online included (but you should've already known that,…

Read back a bit and you'll see the logic behind why you probably wouldn't want to add her ;)

Hey, are you-know-who's tits still showing in everybody's friend's list?

Hardly some poor woman. I went down fighting tooth and nail, have the x-rays to prove it and got out as soon as I could. The poor women are the ones who turn up without a scratch and nobody believes, or dead ones. ...So how 'bout that cum-guzzling chick who logs her calories?
-
I draw the line at hazing. I don't *kitten* with BDSM. Long story short: (meh, edited. Buzzkill, way OT) Yeah... you can definitely keep that Lords of Acid "The Power Is Mine" stuff. I'm hardcore, not stupid.

Shave. Everything. Everyday. (Swimmer, DUH) I'd love the low-maintenance of waxing except I'd find that stage where you have to wait for it to grow back enough for something to grip absolutely repulsive. I don't think I could take it. Laser I'll leave to people who really need it, our nation's resources are already tapped…

^oh dear gawd, did he just call me "MA'AM"? Will one of my other adored boot-licking b!+ches please educate the poor fellow? Sergeant might dole you a charlie-horse giving love tap if it pleases her :D
-
Ok, logging loads of jiz is definitely up there... in the MORON category! We're talking what, FIVE to SEVEN calories tops? Doesn't the EFFORT one puts in to extracting such a substance cancel out the caloric intake? It's like one of those "negative calorie" things like drinking a gallon of ice-water, eating raw carrots or…

REALLY REALLY GUILTY. Though if you read my posts, you'd totally understand. Some of us rate "honorary testicles" though, lol.

I remember seeing that in the news and calling my hubby immediately. He still Ranger-rolls his cap though ;) Know how the black beret came to be general issue? Some high-brass's kid got PEERED-OUT (can't retry later) of Rangers, so he pushed for it to be general issue. Lol. Yes, I appreciate all services. We're all from…

(In classic NatGeo narrator voice) It's called a former female Marine. The current varieties can primarily be found in Jacksonville, NC, San Diego, CA, and Okinawa, Japan. The elite of these for the overly ambitious or suicidal can be found in Parris Island, SC wearing a "smoky bear"-type hat. Very difficult to approach as…

Now you understand how a sweet innocent girl like me can be so enabled to be a b!+ch. Hubs is way worse than me. Lol, last week he embarrassed a female soldier so bad over her out-of-regs "bump-it" creation she ran out to the parking lot in tears and gave herself a 5-snip Treblinka haircut. Tact just isn't in our everyday…
