I use an HRM. Most say it burns an average of 10 calories/minute. I get up to 12 sometimes though because I take Adderal. I just "Create Exercise" "JM 30DS D# L# (HRM)"

:D Warning: once you get into evolutionary biology/psychology there's truly no going back. You'll learn so many ways to wrap men around your little finger, it isn't even funny. Online has some good info on WHR, but if you really want to delve, check out: It's Not You, It's Biology by J. Quirk (available on iBooks)…

Ok, so I think supplementing with JM 6W6P had me ready to jump to D1 L2 today on what >should< have been D4 L1!!! I loved it and knew the second I started doing it it was the right decision; I was already bored with L1 and found myself more looking forward to the burn of the chaser 6W6P session than my L1 30DS session. Now…

I'm up to page 2 right now, I'm hoping somewhere between there and here you did put up those goal weight range calculators & tables you mentioned on page 1. I'm set for maintenance right now though with my body comp being 19.8%BF, there is probably anywhere between 40-300 calories deficit/day. I've decided it's more…

Weird genealogy facts: I'm the great great great etc grandniece of both Adams presidents, great great etc granddaughter of John Alden, married (loosely) into the Coors (beer) family and I'm 1/16th Bannock Indian through my dad, who has red hair, freckles and the prominent Native American nose. My paternal grandfather's…

Yay! I'm officially over the D3 L1 "I wanna quit day"! So glad I didn't & even chased it with D2 L1 of 6W6P... plus... I still did my regular gym routine this morning! :D I feel like caca, but in a good way. LOVING seeing toned legs when I do the "get-ups" from the 6W6P. Thinking I might switch the DVDs around tomorrow.…

Great pics everyone so far! Keep 'em coming! For those doubting their electronic scales; the measuring tape test can be a bit more accurate. I think I got 22% with it which is a heck of a lot closer to 19.8% than Tanita's 34%! It does only take whole inch measurements though.…

Apparently she does too by that pose over the car hood in her profile. She knows she's highlighting assets, lol.

You're at .65! I...would...KILL...for...that! You do realize that's like, better than "perfect" (.70) right? Most Playboy models fall in the .68-.70 range and you're sporting a .65!!! A frowny face for "big hips" & a tiny waist?!?! I should bonk you on the head silly girl... you're rocking Beyonce/Shakira level curves and…

Yeah sweetie, you're at .75ish. You want to do cardio combined with core/ab work to slim your >waist<, not your hips. Try doing high weights/low reps that work your glutes & hips/thighs to tone & build out your hips. My measurements may be higher than yours, but my WHR is lower. Idk, when I was younger, I used to think…

Our family grocery bill is about $225-$280. We usually only shop on military paydays... 1st & 15th each month. #1 obstacle to produce... it doesn't keep. We do pre-plan our menu between trips. Most of the recipes using fresh produce get assigned to the first week, while stuff that freezes well or has a shelf-life worthy of…

Tone it up, sure... but for heavens sakes, don't "slim" it. Don't you know about waist-to-hip ratio and what a huge advertiser of health & attractiveness it is?!? Do you know what your WHR is? (circumference of your waist at the narrowest point divided by your hips at their widest point) from Wikipedia: "The concept and…

Kristelpoole, thank you so much for your responses! I didn't intend on highjacking the thread from the OP. I'm interested in eating "clean-ER". I've made leaps and bounds of the fitness front, but aside from basic portion control/calorie restriction, I haven't really done SQUAT towards improving my nutritional situation,…

I lost all but 5lbs from my 2nd pregnancy before my 6wk maternity leave was even up (had to - active duty Marine; technically you have 6 months to lose it BUT, unless you want to buy new uniforms... you get the idea). 4 months later my run-of-the-mill post-partum depression developed into post-partum onset bipolar type 1.…

Thanks! But considering my hubs would refuse to get on board, how do I justify making him spend $ on separate meals for me? He is already pouting about my gym time and unsupportive generally. I guess I'll have to wait it out until he deploys or something.

Only time. Took 3-5 years to fade to silver. Got so many my first time around that my body simply reused them for pregnancy #2 and by pregnancy #3 nearly 9 years after #1, I was the freak in the gym locker room who stopped women's conversations in their tracks to exclaim "OMG, you're about to pop and…

Great veggie dip or spread on wheat anything :)

I peeked at two of the previous poster's diaries. All I can think of is GAWD, your grocery bills must be obscene. If I was single with no kids, I'd do it in a heartbeat! Unfortunately, I have a meat-n-potatoes hubby who's breadwinning funds our family of 5's grocery bill. He REFUSES to eat veggies unless it's salad or…

Yep! Think about it in terms of; you're hung over and tempted to put in a really pathetic call to your boss at work saying you think you might have pneumonia; like calling in sick. But because you decide to buck the hell up & gut it out, you're not phoning it in :)

I just wrapped up day 2 of level 1. Yesterday I "chased" my level 1 of 30DS with level 1 of 6 Week 6 Pack. Seeing as it's late, I already burned 398 calories per my HRM steam cleaning our basement & 6W6P only mentioned 5x/wk, I'm calling it a night. I don't see it hindering my normal gym routine except I'm dropping the…

11:36pm here in Denver and I just wrapped up D2 of L1. HRM reports 272 calories burned (which work out to 10 calories/minute compared to yesterday's 12/minute... I blame it on it being a p.m. workout as I only take Adderal in the a.m.; wow, that works out to a 17% boost) Yesterday I chased with L1 of JM 6W6P, but it's…

The day I got CALIPERED at 19.8% my Tanita digital scale (foot pads only) read 34%. Those things are a joke in my case.

Ok, seriously... IN Marine Corps bootcamp, at peak physical fitness, we were issued 2.5 MREs to last us 54 hours of which we maybe slept 2-4 hours each night and the days were NON-STOP. All the dumb girls were trading their entree-type stuff for the candy crap that comes in them, while I tried to get my hands on as much…

1.) I invested in a Polar FT7 HRM and have been using it a few days now. 2.) I just started doing JM 30DS followed by JM 6W6P 3.) I'm going to try to keep up my regular 40-60 minute circuit weight training routine 2-3 days/wk (so dropping the occasional 4th) 4.) I just started chasing my CWT gym routine with at least 20…

Yes, it's when there is separation. I'm pretty sure it improves the further post-partum you are, but don't quote me. I'm pretty sure that link PP put up should answer any ?s more accurately. Those are DVD workout programs by Biggest Loser coach Jillian Michaels. You can get them for about $10 each at Wal-Mart.

Thank you! I could hug you right now. Hopefully we'll inspire more to participate :D

Yay! Now I don't feel like some sort of exhibitionist freakazoid. Open a free photobucket account if you don't already have one, upload your pic, then copy the IMG code from the list of 4 options to share the pic. Paste it to your post, BUT change the opening and closing capital "IMG" in the brackets to a lowercase "img".…

Yep! My consult is July 11th. After nursing 3 kids 26 months combined and going from a full D while nursing this last baby to a solid B with this weight loss, now that we're "done" having babies, I deserve it! In the meantime, shaper sport bras at the gym and Two Sexy +2 cup sizes push-ups from Target.

Ouch people, just... ouch. Any ladies out there know their BF%???
