Looks yummy. I checked and you can get the smoky garlic one on Amazon prime.

Yep. totally normal. My life no longer revolves around food. I eat when I'm hungry - but my hunger is more of a reminder and not a demand. I can wait a couple of hours if I'm busy (whereas before, that would be all I could think about!)

1. Nutella 2. Nutella 3. Nutella 4. Nutella 5. Nutella Seriously, I have a whole Pinterest board devoted to the stuff. My hubby and son can pretty much bring anything else into the house and I can control myself. Not so with that evil spread.

That's interesting - but I'm not even close to .8. I was adding in protein powder to up what I was getting (but still not getting near enough). WITH the protein powder, I was only getting 75-90g (when I should be getting at least 100). I'm just going to have to figure out other high protein options (thinking hard boiled…

full fat cottage cheese, full fat greek yogurt (plain with berries added), avocado, bacon, bacon, bacon! ;o)

Hard to tell without seeing your diary. I know, for me, the more carbs (refined - bread, pasta, potatoes, etc.) I eat, the more I crave sugar. The only way to get rid of them (in my experience) is to cut sugar and simple carbs out completely for 3 days. The cravings will then go away. It's rough at first, but once the…

We all have our "no go's" - mine is coffee with sweetened creamer. I refuse to give it up. I moved from the coffee-mate chemical stuff to the Natural Bliss (from coffee mate). That's as far as I'll go - I can't go black. Yuck I have found like the poster above that once I was eating real food, anything with chemicals…

Marred... oops... I mean married! 11 years in June!

If he's mostly eating salads, fruits and veggies - he probably isn't eating enough calories and needs to add quite a bit more protein into his diet.

I met my husband at 135. I got up to 195 which I stayed at for quite a few years. My husband still "fancy's" me - and tells me so. "For better or worse, in sickness and in health..." I think they need to add thin or fat to those vows. If he doesn't fancy you over a few pounds, I don't want to know how he'll feel after you…

^^This! Toss the scale. Fire the trainer. Start Crossfit now while you're motivated. Go out for chinese if you want to - then just hop back on the next meal. (pssst.... I just got home from a mexican restaurant. I can still have mexican, I just choose healthier options. or not... I even had chips/salsa and a couple of…

Thanks, that's what I was hoping to hear (or not, depending on whether I can get my *kitten* motivated or not! )

I've always said I'd rather hang out in a biker bar with a bunch of burly guys with tons of tattoos, than in a bar with a bunch of men in suits. At least with the biker dudes, I know who I'm dealing with. The same goes for the workplace. (on a side note, I've worked for the military - lots of tats; and in a corporate law…

Low Carb for me. You can eat a lot more when you are eating whole foods (meat, veggies, nuts, berries, etc). Carbs, especially refined carbs, tend to cause cravings for other things. If I eat some refined carbs, then I start craving sweet stuff. I find if I can get off sugar and refined carbs, ALL cravings go away. I do…

You mentioned in a past thread you have seen a number of docs for your bi-polar. Keep trying (I know it seems impossible, but sometimes it takes a few). My Step-daughter is bi-polar and it took 2 different hospitalizations and a few different docs over the course of a couple of years to finally find the meds that work for…

I have a few different recipes for fat bombs on my pinterest board: http://pinterest.com/toristamps/paleo-primal/

The bank doesn't care who pays the mortgage or what a divorce decree states (it's a separate agreement that really has nothing to do with them). Her being late affects HIS credit. He's on the hook regardless of who is living in the house. When they got divorced, they should have had him removed from the mortgage by her…

I had mine in 95. A few years back i found www.livingafterwls.com - it's a place where the rules are outlined - and there's tons of people just like you and me who have been there. :flowerforyou: There a plan to follow to get on track. People here will guess, but there's not a lot of WLS-ers here. Those that ARE here are…

^^ This. Makes a lot of sense. The scale can be a lying b@stard! I've been a size 2-4 on 2 different times in my life. One I weighed 118 lbs (skinny fat) - then again when I was 135 (with muscle). I'd much rather be a firm 135 than a jiggly 118. Go by body composition, not by a number on a scale!

The boys are eating pizza. I just had bacon and eggs. Simple but hit the spot!

I'm 90% primal because I refuse to give up my sweetened cream in my coffee.

This. My question is WHY would a 29 year old MAN want a 17 year old GIRL? I mean, you'll have so much in common . *end sarcasm*

If you plan on going to long haul with this guy, I ask you this: Would you tolerate this behavior towards a child of yours? If not, why would you tolerate it towards yourself?

I rarely venture away from what I know I can eat. I am also limited , due to gastic bypass back in 95, on the amount I can eat in one sitting. As such, my days are really consistent with my eating (read that as I tend to stick to the same recipe for meals - e.g. 3oz protein + a veggie). The biggest issue I have with it is…

I joined this group just to comment on this post. *snicker* (OK, not really - my step-son and his husband are gay, as is my best friend). I lost quite a bit of weight back in the 90's when I had gastric bypass. All losing weight did was open up the dating pool to a higher quality assh@le. I was still the same person…

Tell him if he doesn't want to look like a p*ssy next to you, he should start lifting too! *kidding!* IMO, what matters is how YOU feel about your new body. It does sound like he's insecure with your new physique. Sit down and chat. Hopefully, that can clear the air.

Honestly I really could give a **** about trans fats or whatever. What concerns me most are the ingredients. If I can't pronounce it, then I don't want to eat it. COUNTRY CROCK INGREDIENTS: , Vegetable Oil Blend (, LIQUID SOYBEAN OIL, PARTIALLY HYDROGENATED SOYBEAN OIL, HYDROGENATED COTTONSEED OIL) , WATER, WHEY, MILK,…

Actually, if you have a butter dish, it can be left out at room temp. We only refrigerate our butter prior to using it. Once it's out of the wrapper, it goes in the dish. Nice and smooth every time. (and no, it doesn't go bad - at least not in the few days it takes for us to use it).

I live in a very rural town - meaning the nearest health food store or super store is 100+ miles away. Amazon Prime is your friend. You can find anything there - and get free shipping to boot! :drinker:

60% fat, 25% protein and 15% carb Basically, I try to keep my carbs under 50g and sugar under 25g. Protein close to 100g. The rest is fat.
