Oh come on, surely a Bigfoot thread would be a refreshing change from yet another sugar thread.

Now THAT I might have to try.

According to the USDA cider vinegar only has 50 calories per cup, so I suppose if you were drinking it instead of eating other foods, you'd reduce your calorie intake.

At first glance I thought OP was eating mice. o.O

Really? A thread full of virgin jokes and the atheist joke is the one that gets flagged? (By the way, I love you all.) XD

By that "logic" there are people who shouldn't eat quinoa.

Late to the party, but I was too young for renal failure at 25, but it happened anyway.
-
"Don't you start with that again." (...because "Arrrrr, it's been drivin' me nuts all day!" was taken.)

Books are high in fiber.

Reader's Digest, that bastion of sound, reliable science.

I'm going fad diet-free for 2015.

You know what they call people who use the rhythm method...

I'm thinking that hot flashes sound better than my hilariously unpredictable period. I never signed up to have these body parts, who do I return them to?

Now I want some cocoa almonds.

On those days it seems that whether I eat 100 calories or 500 calories at once, I'll still be hungry thirty minutes later, so I eat small snacks and space them out. Generally I try to eat reasonably nutritious things, but if I'm specifically craving chocolate, I'll have a little chocolate too.

Ha! Not in small-town Indiana they don't!

Like not be a furry little jerk? XD (I have three.)

Sounds like you've been sold snake oil.

I find potassium-based salt substitute to be horribly bitter, but I think that might be my own quirk--potassium acesulfame (sweetener) tastes awful to me too. Just gradually reduce the amount of salt you put in/on food, and eliminate packaged foods that contain excessive sodium, and your tastebuds will adjust.

Half a cup of rolled oats with raisins, cinnamon, and sugar, and cinnamon-orange-spice tea with milk and sugar. On weekends I often have an egg or two as well.

The interesting thing is that different people like different things. Don't like Subway? Don't eat there. Don't proselytize about it.

So tofu (once the ultimate health food) isn't considered "clean," right? Because it certainly does not come off the plant that way. I cut a lot of processed food from my diet for sodium reasons years ago, but it didn't occur to get all weird and culty about it.

If it's billed as helping with weight loss and "boosting immunity" it's starting to sound like snake oil.

Assuming I'd have survived my early birth, I'd have died of renal failure by 25. --but all that aside, I can knit and cook... and I'm old enough to remember life before the Internet. :D

Is that why moms are the only in-shape people out there? ...oh wait.

Because the more skin showing, the better ventilation. I wear tanks and I haven't shaved in over a year. SORRY DUDEBROS.

I've been on a low-sodium diet since 2002. My biggest changes were limiting how much I eat out (fast food, chain restaurants, "nice" restaurants, all of it) and limiting the processed or prepackaged foods I eat. (Even breakfast cereal can have ridiculous amounts of sodium, for crying out loud!) Switch to fresh or frozen…

I was always effortlessly thin as a kid, up through college (the food wasn't good enough for the Freshman 15 to be an issue) and then I graduated and got a desk job. Started gaining weight, then my kidneys failed and I went on peritoneal dialysis. It keeps you alive, and I liked it better than hemodialysis, but I never…

I like the cut of your jib.
